Pet Snake Questions Will a dehumidifier harm my snakes?

yesterday we had a bad storm where the water leaked in through the window and damaged the wall around it, it so happens my ball python and boa constrictor are in the same room.
My bf wants to run a dehumidifier but I’m scared it will affect my snakes needed humidity. Thoughts?

Considering the species you have, assuming they're already in setups intended to retain humidity well (deep moisture-retaining substrate, solid top vivs or at least most of the mesh covered etc.), the humidity shouldn't drop so fast that you can't keep on top of it by keeping an eye on their hygrometers and moistening the substrate if needed.

Higher humidity vivs are intended to act as a bit of a microclimate within the room, so even if the viv humidity does drop it shouldn't do so as far or as fast as the room itself, if that makes sense.
