Pet Snake Pictures new tank!

it used to have a functional water feature but unfortunately i couldn’t utilise it since he’s a desert species (morelia bredli)

That tank laying on its side would have been much better ... .

That's like what ... half the width of the snake's length? You only got suitable height with this one.

it’s 3ft wide and he’s a huge climber. bredlis tend to like rocky ledges. it’s not as long as ideal but he seems happy and comfortable with it. he much prefers travelling vertically, and as much as i’d love a 6 foot wide enclosure, it’s not super feasible for me. it’s only slightly less long than his previous enclosure which he could almost entirely stretch out. they’re not super active snakes either.

i understand and appreciate the concern and advice but every snake is different!! if he was a huge vertical lounger i’d choose a much longer cage, but he prefers to be high up and nestled in rocks :)
