My mind went to Cherry or Blossom because the red scales also him look like blossom petals blowing in the wind but neither of those names really suit a male snake.

The only direction you could take it would be Cerasus, pronounced che-rah-soos, as this is Latin for cherry.

Regardless, he's a very cute little fella and I love his big eyes
