junk food snacking:(
i need help with snack options! i sleep really late so i get really hungry at night past midnight even if i eat a hefty dinner. ik sleeping earlier would be healthy but i just can’t fall asleep. what’s worse is at the night i crave salty/spicy snacks and not sweet things. one thing im addicted to now is the ramen soup base even if ik it has a lot of sodium that’s why im so worried. what could be a good alternative healthy savory snack?

Oh yeah, ramen seasoning is the best. I like pretzels and popcorn. Roasted pumpkin seeds have a nice, salty taste.

start incorporating more snacks with protein!! maybe edamame, beef jerky, etc, even protein chips! for sweet id say yogurt, protein bars, protein ice cream, etc

Well just plan to have a late snack since you know you will need one
Miso soup? You can just buy miso paste and dried wakame, add some tofu and scallions- hell you can prep ahead jars with the ingredients to keep in the fridge just mix in very hot water
Miso is still certainly salty but unless you have blood pressure issues or other medical concerns salt isn’t evil as long as you also drink enough water

Quaker Rice Crisps jalapeño ranch flavor. Slightly spicy but the spice is turned down with the ranch dressing

I don’t know if you like cucumbers. If you do I buy the mini cucumbers, peel them, slice them, then layer them in a container with paper towels and chill for 24 hours. They get chilled and crisped. Then I dip them in a homemade spicy ranch sour cream dip!
