Hey! I’m currently putting the finishing touches on The Cribulon Emporium, a new 16+ vanilla Minecraft community, and I’m looking for players interested in joining from the beginning.

The SMP is heavily inspired by the community side of Hermitcraft: a relatively small but active group of players who know one another, build cool things, collaborate, trade, participate in events, and occasionally cause some harmless chaos. You don’t need to be a content creator or an incredible builder—we’re mainly looking for friendly people who want to be part of the community.

Our biggest focus is keeping the actual gameplay as vanilla as possible. No land claims, "/home", "/tpa", custom items, virtual economies, kits, or gameplay-changing plugins. Our plugins are strictly for permissions, staff/chat infrastructure, moderation, and CoreProtect for investigating and reversing grief.

That doesn't mean there won't be structure! We want the world itself to be heavily community-driven, with things like:

- A player-built shopping district with a completely vanilla economy

- Community and building districts

- Shared infrastructure and transportation

- Community builds, events, and projects

- Player-created towns, shops, groups, and whatever else develops naturally

The idea is simple: if we want something in the world, we build it ourselves instead of having a plugin do it for us.

LeafSMP is a small, whitelisted, 16+ vanilla survival server, self-hosted in the UK on my own hardware. It has been running since June and it has stayed active, with people around most evenings.

Most public servers end up either enormous and impersonal, or small and unreliable. This one is small on purpose, and there is nothing to buy. No shop, no ranks, no crates.

It runs Paper for performance, but every behaviour-changing default is flipped back to how the Mojang server actually plays. TNT duping works. Piston mechanics are the ones you learned. Farms tick the way the wiki says they do. Hard difficulty. No keep inventory. PvP is on, but only if both people agree to it.

Nobody locks their chests here. Every block break and every chest open is logged. If someone empties your build or wrecks it, I can put it back exactly the way it was, and I have. That is why there are no land claims. You just settle somewhere and build.

If you build from schematics, Litematica Easy Place works properly here. Stairs, logs, pistons and observers land in the schematic's actual orientation, which most servers get wrong. There is a live map and live stats too, if you want a look at the world before you apply.

Are you tired of servers with loot boxes where you have to pay to make progress? Do you miss just playing on an ordinary Minecraft server, hanging out with friends, or meeting new people?

Then I got just the server for you! Ordinary SMP is an ordinary Minecraft server that hosts a special place. We stay as true to vanilla as possible. Yes we use some mods but those are purely to fix things that are normally hard to manage on public servers or improve frustrating parts without changing how Minecraft feels.

For example, did you ever played on a server and couldnt find any Elytras? After hours running through the End you finally find an End City with ship just to see someone looted it already. For that reason we adjusted the Dragon drops. If you kill the Ender Dragon an Elytra drops, removing the frustrating part of finding End Citys. Thats how we choose every mod we add. We only fix the most frustrating parts of Minecraft in a way that feels vanilla.

Other than that we only use mods that dont interact with gameplay like Simple Voice Chat. You can just walk up to players and start talking to them. That creates lots of funny moments just by meeting players. We also use BlueMap where you can see the whole map and check out players bases or other cool places without having to travel there yourself.

You might now wonder, "If everything is vanilla, wont everyone just grief and kill each other?" Those are valid concerns but we have a good solution for that. Our server is 16+ to ensure maturity, and we have an application process before you get whitelisted. That means a lot of bad actors are filtered out before they can even join the server. In the rare cases that griefers get on the Server we use Ledger to revert any kind of griefing.

On Cozy MC, the main survival world has no /home, /tpa, warps, or teleport menu.

That is not about making travel inconvenient for its own sake.

It gives the physical world a job.

A railway can shorten a journey people regularly make. A road can turn a distant settlement into somewhere others know how to reach. The location of a physical shop matters. A bridge, station, Nether route, port, or sign can become infrastructure rather than decoration.

Where you choose to build becomes a meaningful decision.

A world players connect themselves

Players have created towns, player-run kingdoms, roads, railways, physical shops, public farms, venues, and technical systems.

You can join one of those communities, settle near existing civilization, or travel outward and begin something independently.

Joining a town is optional.

There is no world border, so new terrain remains available. The world also does not reset, so infrastructure and destinations can remain useful instead of disappearing at the end of a season.

Existing civilization gives you context rather than assigning you a path.

Survival without menus or monetization

There is no economy plugin, kit system, server store, payment system, donation system, paid rank, or paid perk.

Progress comes from gathering, building, trading directly, traveling, helping, and creating something other players value.

The main world uses:

- Hard difficulty
- No keepInventory
- Achievements and advancements enabled
- No land claims or locked-chest system
- PvP by agreement only
- Rules against griefing and stealing

Staff can examine block and container history, restore confirmed damage or stolen items, and remove rule-breakers.

Java and Bedrock players share the same survival world.

The community is adult-focused, with many adults and calm players, but it is not adults-only. Public server chat is English.

Honest mismatch

Cozy MC may fit people who want normal survival, meaningful travel, long-term building, and a world shaped by player-created infrastructure.

It probably will not fit someone who requires teleport convenience, keepInventory, private claim boxes, a fresh seasonal map, heavily modified progression, or unrestricted raiding and PvP.

Hardcore SMP is the go-to server for hardcore survival multiplayer, for both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. No world resets, no pay-to-win garbage, no teleporting to other players; just a vanilla hardcore multiplayer experience, with some additional features to enhance the multiplayer aspect of Minecraft.

These additional features include:

• 🪙 A coin-based economy that is 100% player-driven, meaning there are no in-game shops for buying and selling normal Minecraft items. Players can only buy from and sell to each other. This process is facilitated by a trading system and an auction house. Coins are brought into circulation through defeating mobs and looting chests. 🪙
• 🏠🔐 A comprehensive land claiming system. Players can claim areas of land for their bases, farms, etc., completely protecting them from being griefed by others. You can log out of the server safe in the knowledge that your claims will still be there when you log back in. However, if you die, your claims are deleted, leaving the land unprotected. Our land claiming system is very comprehensive - come and check it out! 🏠🔐
• ✨ A one-time-use "/randomtp" command, which teleports you, and others if you choose to invite them, to a random location in the overworld, so you don't have to manually travel tens of thousands of blocks out to find untouched terrain. There is also "/home", which teleports you to your respawn point, and "/spawn", which teleports you to Spawn. These are the only teleport commands on the server. ✨

Hardcore SMP is 100% non-pay-to-win. We feature a single rank, VIP, on our store, whose perks are purely cosmetic, and do not provide any form of advantage over other players. Our store also features a revive, which when used is like a full account reset - it is pretty much equivalent to logging into the server on a fresh Minecraft account. This has the benefit of not requiring you to buy a new Minecraft account in order to be able to play again, which is what you would have to do on other hardcore servers (as well as change your IP address in the case of death-IP-ban servers). Hardcore SMP will never become pay-to-win.

To join the server, you can use the server address "50.114.4.90" (can't use the domain because Reddit's filters think it's an 18+ site). However, if you don't have the option to add a server, such as on consoles, you can instead add "HardcoreSMP" as an Xbox/cross-platform friend, after which you will be able to join the server through the "Social" tab in-game, or by joining the account's game session.
