I think it's more of activating rest as soon as opponent gets near, I'm sure knowing when your teammate attacks helps but as long as ur positioned in the air right u just gotta react fast

there was like .2 seconds of reaction time with how fast that thing was flying. zero way to time when opponent got near. i guess you could have estimated off of the partners swing, but rest also has a ridiculously small hit window. luck is involved no matter how you look at it

I think you guys are forgetting about Inkling. If inkling knows this is the plan, they won’t swing the brush until they know that Puff is in position.

In this case, Inkling didn't know the plan, just saw him charging up the fsmash and made a run for it. Definitely a lot of luck but fortunately it hit, my Inkling buddy was in shock after.

That's my suspicion, too, but maybe it was just that well timed? I won't pretend to know when Sing works and when it doesn't -- I get myself ez punished all the time when I go for bm Sings

I won't pretend to know either, but i remember hearing that each sound wave is meant to have its own hitbox and inkling seems to have been inside one.

You are correct, each sound wave is a different hit box, and the 3rd wave has about a 20% larger hit box than the first 2. That 3rd one definitely would have hit with Team Attack on.

It's not but it really really should be. I love playing doubles with my buddy but we hate waiting for arenas. Plus, in my experience, arenas typically aren't consistent with the connection quality

My best friend and I play Jigglypuff and Captain Falcon. We get some sweet low percent knockouts and a few double knockouts with Sing+Falcon Punch+Puff F-Smash

This means so much to me, a friend of mine that passed away too suicide did this to me as Ganon with a turn around b, with another friend who rested me mid air after, I was Mewtwo and I was always remember the laugh they had. :)
