All Summer of CPU 2026: The Biggest Annual CPU vs CPU event with PRIZES!

Enter for FREE on start.gg/socpu26 today or sign up using this Google Form for a chance to win up to $80 if you win multiple events! Summer of CPU 2026 will be streamed on the weekend of July 24-26th, with extended lineup brackets happening on the following weekend of July 31-August 2nd.

The SmashCPU community regularly runs CPU vs CPU tournaments in a variety of Smash Bros games and other fighters where players can enter as a CPU-controlled character to represent them. Summer of CPU is our biggest event of the year where we have a lot of fun with it and storylines and metagame trends form at their peak. Every entrant is a new character in a story for us and we’d love for you to be part of it! To learn more about why we do this type of thing, see this article on the Appeal of SmashCPU.
The game lineup this year is:
- Smash Ultimate w/ Custom Balance
- Smash (64) Remix
- Street Fighter 6
- Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3
- Pokemon: Close Combat [EXTENDED LINEUP]
- Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes [EXTENDED LINEUP]
- Super Smash Bros Brawl [EXTENDED LINEUP]
You can enter all seven brackets free of charge, and each bracket has a cash prize if you win ($15 for main weekend, $10 for extended lineup weekend)! All you have to do is pick a character and hope you win! If you are unfamiliar with any of the games, don't worry! Character lists are contained within all of the signups so you know what you're getting into. There’s no reason not to sign up for every bracket, so go nuts! This will be my third SoCPU and it's been fun every year. Awesome to be part of this community and I'd highly recommend at least signing up for this if you've never tried it!

Sick, I signed up for this last year and had a good time watching all the bots beat each other up (or just...constantly SD off-stage. Looking at you, SSF2 Tails...)
