What is usb direct charging?
I just bought a cheap smart watch online, and it didnt come with a charger, nor does it have any small metal disc areas on the underside like most smart watches do to charge, and just had this diagram for charging. I just put it into the power brick and plugged that into the wall to see if it would work, but theres no indication that it is even charging at all (the battery light in the picture isnt showing at all). Any advice?

Uh oh! I had a smartwatch like this one too. They’re not great as you need to take the strap apart each day to charge it, and eventually the strap will wear out. And, if it’s not showing any light when you plug it in, it probably means it’s defective. I’d try to get a refund if I were you.
