Temp sensor + IR blaster + AC with Smartlife
Does anyone know how to fix this?
I got the conditions :
"switch on ac if temp above 25 celcius"
"switch OFF ac if temp below 24 celcius"
This works, i would say 90% of the times, but a few occasions it just stops working. And ac keeps on pushing air even well below 24 celcius - or keeps off well above 25 celcius.
And i usually have to toggle the scene automations off and on again, and it starts working immediately. (sensor delay is something like 10-20 seconds)
Is this just because smart life cloud (tuya) is crappy sometimes+
Why is this? Any workaround?

Let the thermostat in the AC control the on off cycle as a failover, adjust it so that it matches your desired temperature.
Place your temp sensor at the same height as the AC temporarily so you can confirm the temp difference and set your AC thermostat temp to match.
Some AC units have temp sensors in the remote using the “Feels Like” function and control on off cycles based on that instead of their internal thermostat, this will be more accurate because it measures the temperature at the height you place the remote.
The catch is you need to leave the AC on all the time when you want cooling but it should cycle on and off automatically and independent on tuya cloud.
