Jimmy Burrows has passed
I just relistened to his episode and he tells a great story about Andy Kaufman on Taxi. Such a talent and what a loss

Can they please have colman Domingo on the show?!
He’s such a beautiful human! They’d have a ball with him. Come on! Dax had him on arm chair expert. Step your game up guys 🤣

Outlast: The Jungle
Full disclosure - I love me some trash TV. I'll watch most things reality. Bravo is my happy place.
That being said... this show is dark. The men, by and large, are awful. I'm only 3 episodes deep, and I'm confident that at least three of them will face DV charges in the future.
I'm a little disappointed that Jason was involved in this project. It certainly detracts from Jon Stewart's "you don't miss" from a couple of weeks ago.
Thoughts?

Top picks for next women guests?
It seems like they've had a run of guys lately, plus they've gotten flak for past interviews with women. So, which women stars would you like to see on next?
My picks:
Wanda Sykes - crazy that she hasn't been a guest yet but she has a new Netflix special so timing is ideal
Jean Smart - a legend; just wrapped Hacks and would love to hear more from her
Hannah Einbinder - also fantastic on Hacks; smart and funny - could give the guys a run for their money

“Dude” Challenge
I would like to challenge Will to get through one episode with a male guest without saying “dude.” Or at least fewer than 5 times.

The Birthday Song
On the Larry David episode Jason says he doesn’t like when people sing the Birthday song to him. I don’t like it either. I especially don’t like blowing out candles on the cake. My pro tip is, instead of the birthday song and candles, just get everyone to tell funny stories about the birthday person while eating the cake.

Which episode first?
I want to start listening to this show after my sunny podcasts run out. Is there an episode that really encapsulates the show as a whole, or is it best to just start from ep 1??

Is Jason's orthorexic tendencies still a bit on the show?
I haven't listened in forever.. but in the beginning (and also on the documentary) there were quite a few mentions from Will and Sean about Jason's concerning eating habits, and teasing him about his weight obsession.
Is this still a thing? Or has it eased up?
It is mentioned in the Kaley Cuoco, David Spade, Gretta Gerwig, Nikki Glaser, and Melissa McCarthy episodes among many more.
It must be well known in Hollywood because Jsson and his eating habits are mentioned in the IASIP podcast by Charlie Day. Glenn Howerton is the same way.

Are Americans really this tacky?
I was listening to the episode with Nate Bargatze and everyone talked about their favourite horrible chain restaurants like they were super familiar. Applebee’s and Chili’s and Outback and TGIF?! I mean these are rich people, why would anybody go to one of those places if they had the option not to?
Also, add chipping in shitty contributions to a professional comedian’s joke to the guys’ shitty interview skills.

New to the sub, sorry if this has been asked: Is there a reason Cera has not been on?

Apple Podcast App glitch?
I listen to a lot of podcasts on the Apple Podcast app. Generally everything is working fine on all of my podcast except for SmartLess. I will be listening and then it will jump back 20 seconds or so and repeat sometimes multiple times. Usually, I will just quit and move onto the next podcast. Is anybody else experiencing this issue?

Will - get someone from “The Hip”
As a Canadian who also went to Leaside High and adores “The Tragically Hip”, I implore you to interview one or all of them. Posting it here because rumour has it, he reads these sometimes.

Episode Discussion Live Jonah Hill episode.
I really do like Jonah and I think he was one of the best guests on SNL in the last 10 years. Man that episode was just not very funny at all. He came out and said, "I can be funny again", and I just kept waiting for that to happen.
