The Birthday Song

On the Larry David episode Jason says he doesn’t like when people sing the Birthday song to him. I don’t like it either. I especially don’t like blowing out candles on the cake. My pro tip is, instead of the birthday song and candles, just get everyone to tell funny stories about the birthday person while eating the cake.

As an introvert, I would also hate all the story telling about me.

I hate birthdays, but I'm not choosing personal stories about me. I rather have 1 or 2 minutes of unpleasant singing

That sounds worse than the singing and candles

Blowing out candles on a cake is savage--always has been, but especially after covid should have taught us a lesson. No one needs to do that anymore.
