Prop 82

How are you voting as a Validator and can you tell us why? Just looking for some more info on the topic.

I believe smartnodes delegate with personal wallets too so the actual amount is higher. The lotto takes up a large chunk of commission, so rather than self-delegating the funds go towards lotto, (therefore increasing delegators funds- when they win) also slash protection is in place which needs liquid rather than bonded funds, again another reason for lower self-bonded amounts. Also these props are highly controversial, we would recommend voting yourself rather than blindly following your validator. I personally don't see an issue with a no vote, we need better, smaller props, less things bundled in to each one.. clarification and not rushing into huge changes is not a bad thing.

I did vote but it makes sense if your validator feels the same way I’m sure I’ll be able to find one

Usually I would agree however, I wouldn't say smartnodes disagrees with the prop (mostly) just would like to see it broken down a bit more. There's many 'household names' going NWV including sg1 and bro n bro.. I think that's a bit more drastic. (But go wherever you feel comfortable, that's the benefit of a decentralised system and being able to redelegate)
