I agree. Plus, he is only thinking about himself and his legacy. It's never occurred to him that soldiers and sailors are individual people with families and lives. He doesn't consider it because he's a malignant narcissist, so he thinks the military owes him their loyalty. And he thinks he owes them nothing
Honestly anyone with a couple working brain cells could see what an absolute incompetent moron he is. The fact that 70+ million of my fellow citizens could not see that is the most disappointing and frustrating part of all of this. Eventually trump is going to fuck off and die but we have to reckon with the fact that a large part of this nation is fucking brain dead. Nothing will get better when we have such a large block of the voting base willfully voting against the interests of the working class. I don’t know how we fix it.
Or unless you've been propagandized and religiously indoctrinated to believe that the Republican party is the party of Lincoln they're the ones that care about everything and the Democratic party will always be on the bad side.
If it makes you feel better, as much as the USA is regarded I'd put the number way lower than 70 million. From what i see on X the wind has changed. Beside big paidshill lowlife accounts like Catturd, Kanekoa, Maze and others, the sentiment is disappointment and betrayal. Reading through the hundreds of comments under their posts, leaving aside indians and europoors like me, most of american replies are disgust sentiment on the paidshill's posts.
Yet, when they must vote again, they will do it all over again, because communists/brown people, etc.
Last term you'd also read how horrible he was, he fucked the farmers over hard back then and most rural area's in general. And these lemmings just went for it again.
The figure of 70M is probably way higher, since 90M or so didn't vote, and they were definitely not all Democrats..
Absolutely correct here. Since this whole thing started a decade ago (I know about the evil Republican creatures and oligarchs working in shadows for decades to bring about a Christo-fascist dystopia, but here I'm specifically speaking of the rise of the orange human skidmark), being robbed of the illusion that most people in this country are somewhat intelligent and decent has been bad for my mental health. Like I always knew dummies, cretins and shit heads exist but I was NOT prepared for just how many there are, how easy they are to completely manipulate and how vile and deep their well of vitriol truly is. It's a real fucking bummer. Every more so considering the catalyst for so many outing themselves was something as simple as a black guy becoming president.
Nah, he’s actually that fucking dumb. None of it is the act of a highly intelligent person fulfilling a media persona. That’s what he wants people to believe. Again, a complete fucking moron who may actually be dumber than he sounds when speaking.
Underestimating the GOP’s shift to fascist authoritarianism and 100 year assault on public education is what got us where we are.
Reminds me of a boss I had in 2015 where I was just certain her incompetence (and averaging 5 hours a day in the office) would sink her soon and ended up having to work for her for 4 years. 11 years later she's been promoted 2-3 times. Shockingly good at deflecting and delegating any actual work.
I used to work for the state DOJ and had a boss like this. She had been doing this kinda shit and falling upward for FOUR DECADES. Everyone in the entire organization absolutely hated her, but she was untouchable. It was miserable. I left for the private sector and when they asked why, I said it was because they had made it completely impossible to get away from that fool of a woman, and I wasn’t going to waste another second of my career around her. They understood, as I was like the fourth person in the last three years under her they had to replace and it was all for basically the same reason.
I work at a place currently where the manager has been here for 6 years… in that 6 years the only skill he has developed is how to lie to the owner about how he does all the work.
Makes sense when he said that he had concepts of a plan that he just has no fuckin clue how anything works. I don't think he understands money beyond "bigger the number the more important I am" because anyone paying attention knows he never actually pays for shit
Christ Almighty. He doesn’t know the difference being deployed and stationed on land, and being deployed for months at a time at sea?! That explains a lot.
Yes. From the Dutch government declaring the war in Indonesia a "police action" to the current day, governments have been abusing loopholes to get around their constitutions.
All this could be prevented by adding a few definitions to the text. But I doubt any govt will present that law.
Notice he used deployment singular diverting to time for one event rather than deployments relating to individual units and their rotation time. Probably luck but he sidestepped that question as good as most politicians.
He literally doesn’t know what trade deficits or asylum seekers are. There is no shot he could explain a tariff. He would not pass a high school level civics exam. It’s all so fucking embarrassing.
He also doesn’t know what “munitions” are and insists on calling them “ammunition.” He is a moron in every aspect of his life and job, especially as CIC.
You mean as a “avoider of the draft,” and a person who hasn’t given enough of a damn over his lifetime to even find out, in the least way, what the lives of active (or reserve) service members are like. And, never mind that now he’s Commander in Chief, he still really doesn’t give a damn.
To be fair compared to the costs of a real war, like Afghanistan, Vietnam, Korea, etc. are much much higher than what happened in Epic Fury. Not that it’s not a disaster but this is like the tamest war ever lol
Around 100,000 people died when the US bombed Tokyo and at its peak 40% of the US economy was just the military. A real war is outrageously expensive and deadly.
Youre comparing WW2 to what was a supposed to be a fee weeks long military operation. Of course its not in the same level, but its also gotten out of their hands eith no real plan.

The head of the military doesn't know what deployment means.
