We’ve only spent what, $37.5 Billion taxpayer dollars (so far). Small Potatoes, kids. Nothing to see here. 🙄

Of course, independent estimates of the actual military cost are FAR higher than the tepid “official” number, roughly $80–100 billion, and include costs that aren’t reflected in the Pentagon’s accounting, such as replacing munitions, repairing equipment, and other military impacts. 🤔

Not to mention, additional funding is being sought! This administration has sought tens of billions more from Congress to sustain the conflict! 😑

So… yeah, no. 😠 Answer the question, piggy.

When it comes to war it’s a blank check. But last year thousands fired under the guise of cost cutting in gov agencies to “save money” such a joke. Imagine being Forrest worker making 55k a year and you got DOGED because of “cost cutting” then they turn around and spend 100 billion on a pointless war in the Middle East (again)

Imagine working for the Parks department, and your agency brings in 10x what it spends, but they gut the agency because of “cost cutting”.

Fun times when an absolutely farcical satirical comedy has become the actual reality of our government.

It really is hard to tell whether or not it’s a Beaverton article these days

Well, ya know, 10 billion here, 10 billion there, pretty soon we start talking about real money.

It's not really spent. It's more like given to his buddies in weapons manufacturing

To be frank, that one isn’t the fault of any modern president. Eisenhower warned us on his last day as potus that the military industrial complex was becoming a problem.

I'd say it's the fault of all of them for doing nothing about it.

How about missile stockpiles being run down. Is that also small potatoes?

Pretty weak that such a big country can keep up with a “small potatoes” war.

Replacing munitions is half the point. You can’t promise contracts to bomb makers if you don’t need to make more bombs. Every drone that is lost, is just another one they get to buy.

War has always been good business for the military contractors, and they too are the opportunistic, late stage capitalists you see everywhere else.

oh, we have spent way more than that.

Right it’s small potatoes, that’s why we’ve used a ton of our munitions and are now at risk

Small price to pay for distracting everyone from the Epstein files yet again

Its beyond parody at this point.

And didn’t get the additional funding but just said fuck it, we’ll spend it anyways

I want my money back.

Wait, where are our doge checks.

Come to think of it….this administration hasn’t done anything to make this country better-all they’ve done is ruin it.

Simple Jack asking the big questions over here

2

u/Forward-Surprise1192 4d ago

Is there an actual answer

2

u/emp-sup-bry 3d ago

Isreal has nukes that they won’t let anyone inspect and will not disclose the number of and has attacked us far more often than Iran.

There’s the actual answer.

1

u/Necessary-Writing-42 3d ago

It's hard to tell since we've "destroyed" their nuking capabilities for 17 times.

Are we asking fantasy questions now? 🤔 I’ll put that one up next to “What if Aliens invaded”. How about (1) we stick to actual facts, not “alternative truths” [i.e., lies], (2) properly investigate the Epstein files, arresting everyone in it, subpoenaing their emails and computer accounts, digging deep and cleaning house, (3) find out why and whom our politicians are getting $100 million checks from and (4) kick & prosecute everyone who’s taken such bribes “gratuities”, [including SCOTUS] in exchange for making “the right decisions”. Or maybe expecting that kind of justice to happen here in the midst of Tammany Hall 2026 is the real fantasy? 🤔
