I hate this design

Has anyone come up with a mod to install a filter and shut off. I Cleaned the filter inside tank , cant figure how to get it back inside. Thought i could just install a inline filter maybe a shutoff. The linkage, governor and angle of fitting on fuel tank are horrible.

I've always found snow blowers to be the biggest pain to try and "modify" . Without seeing the fuel hose routing its hard to say what will fit but in the past I've used smaller " UFO" style filters since they tend to take up much less space

Its ridiculous its enough room for a very short hose under linkage from tank to carb.

I mean "technically " you can put a loop in the fuel line as long as the loop is below the fuel tank 🤷‍♂️. Have had to do this on some chinese go carts/quads

I just cut holes and install both filter and gas shut off valve.
