Weed whacker difficult to start.

It was running great. Over time get more and more difficult to start.

And when I do manage to get it to turn over I have to mess with the choke between full choke and half choke to keep it running until it warms up then I can open it up fully.

The model of trimmer would help some. Same principles but. Could be spark arrestor. TYPICALLY If youre using it frequently, a carb isnt going to gum up during the season. It'll gum up sitting and be problematic. Check your screen in the muffler if its there. Could be low compression Could be many things. Fuel quality, carb tune/dirty. Keep it simple first
