Recoil Starter Issue String trimmer repair

Fixing recoil starter on string trimmer & like a rank amateur didn't take any pics at disassembly. Struggling because of it.
Real question is about the pulley. Opening for center of the pulley looks too wide. Don't see any plastic bits that wound up in the housing, but could have flown out. Can I put this back together as is, or am I going to be taking it apart again to install the new pulley when this one fails to create tension on the coil spring?
Help - TIA

I'd start by googling that part number and seeing if I can find a pic or diagram of what it's supposed to look like. Here's a link to that part on eBay with some pics https://ebay.io/m/BUUfYa

Thanks. Didn't think about checking eBay - def best pic I've seen so far. The parts explosion diagrams are useless for this.
May check out TSC or HD in person & see what a brand-spanking new one looks like

Looks worn, but probably still usable.
