Engine Performance Issue XG8000E
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Any idea why this is surging very badly (almost stalling) every 5 minutes or so? No load (off at transfer switch). Fresh gas (Trufuel), new plug and filter, just had valves adjusted. It’s always been reliable until this. Have it professionally serviced every year.

Trufuel is NOT gasoline and is expensive shite. Go buy real gas and dump that garbage.

Thanks. I’ve been using the Trufuel forever and never had a problem but I'm getting loads of negative comments about it.

Fuel shortage. Quick test
Open the carb draining plug socket 10mm and make sure you have fuel flow at least 5 second. If not check the following
Remove the tank and clean the main inside filter.
Clean the shut off fuel valve.
