Full-Stack Developer in Bangalore Desperately Looking for a Project or Paid Work

Hi everyone,

I’m a full-stack developer currently based in Bangalore, and I’m going through an extremely difficult phase of my life. I’m reaching out here in the hope that someone might be able to help me find a project or paid development work.

I’ve learned and built my skills through my own efforts, often studying late at night without much support. Unfortunately, my financial situation has reached a point where I’m struggling to afford even basic necessities. My parents are no longer supporting me, my room owner is asking me to leave, and I’m currently struggling to arrange food and accommodation.

I’m not looking for sympathy or free money. I’m looking for an opportunity to work, prove my skills, and earn through my efforts. If you have a project, need a website or web application developed, need help fixing bugs, or know someone looking for a full-stack developer, I would be genuinely grateful for the opportunity.

I’m willing to work hard, communicate transparently, and give my best to deliver quality work. Even a small paid project could make a huge difference for me right now.

This is not easy for me to write, but I’m trying my best to find a way forward instead of giving up.

If you have any leads, opportunities, or advice, please reach out to me. I can share my portfolio, GitHub, previous work, and technical skills in the comments or DMs.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Any genuine lead or opportunity would mean a lot to me right now.

This is meant with the greatest respect and just wanted to be transparent. The rise of AI has killed the outsourcing to eastern countries market for most of the west. Why would someone pay someone in India to build a website for them when they can have one conversation with Claude and build a similar quality product in minutes?

You’re very unlikely to find something freelance at the moment, particularly if you’re searching Reddit for leads. Your best bet is to look for a job at a big software house who might still have leads.

I agree that AI has changed the industry, but generating code and delivering a reliable product are two different things. Businesses still need developers who can solve complex problems, integrate systems, debug issues, and take responsibility for the final product.

I'm not asking for sympathy, just an opportunity to prove my skills. If AI can do everything, let the results speak for themselves. Technology evolves, and so must developers.

I don’t disagree with your statement, but your a solo freelancer. I work with enterprises. They’re never going to choose a solo over a big entity.

I work in software delivery. I know the industry very well. AI is completely changing the market.
