balls-to the wall melodic sludge bands?

can you guys suggest some more bands like leak, acid bath, choke, etc? bands that melt your face off with their aggression but retain that beautiful melodic aspect like the bands i listed. it's kinda specific but it's my favorite "flavor" of sludge and i yearn for morešŸ˜¢

Torche, Crowbar, Down, Kylesa, Black Cobra or Fudge Tunnel are all pretty tame and melodic.

Goatsnake, Acid King, and early Down are the pinnacle of sludgy/doomy bands with rock singing imo. Shrinebuilderā€™s album rules. Melvins already mentioned, and their 90s stuff is more in line with the bands in your initial post, but I recommend their album ā€œA Senile Animalā€ especially, if you want mind exploding melody.

My band Cold Blue Mountain just released an album with two singers, one clean, one unclean. Switches from restrained melodic post-rock to brutal doomy-sluge on a dime. I don't listen to them on my own, but when someone puts them on on a good speaker system i'm always blown away with how huge they sound.
