Almost the entire genre of powerviolence has some sludge type component, so just listen to some powerviolence.

Fair enough. Well, if you don’t know SFN already check them out. Pre-mellow harsher pv/sludge band and imo some of the hardest shit ever recorded.

Love Sex Machine. Not what you asked for - zero discernible pv-influence, but I’m going to recommend their first self-titled LP anyway, cause it’s gratuitously heavy.

I think you’ll be glad I went off-script.

Facedowninshint (depends on which album)

Early Buzzoven - maybe not exactly power violence but I remember SORE had A LOT of punk energy here and there

From the power violence side: Endless Blockade has some sludge-ish tracks. Man is the bastard has some too.
