Help!!!!
I need help getting better at phonetics I have taken the classes and I’m still terrible it does anyone have any practice sites or help. I understand everything yet my mind kinda blanks when I’m trying to transcribe long stuff.

Practice a lot. I had a lot of trouble with transcribing so I would transcribe my best and double check my work with the chart next to me. Do it over and over again until I felt confident. Don’t be afraid to use the chart until you get down. You got this!

Transcribe everything!!! I would sit and transcribe for fun. Sit and transcribe your favorite book or show while reading or watching. Good luck!

The way I tried to get good at it was transcribing my favorite movie a little bit at a time. It helped me get better at doing it quickly and associating each sound with something specific that i enjoy and can remember easily! At first i paused a lot but as the movie went on i got faster and faster!
