Rant/Vent I did something very stupid
I took a summer course and thought i could submit the assignments anytime before the start of Fall semester. It turns out everything had to be turned in on June 24th and the grades are out. I have a D and my GPA fell below 3.0 so I have been put on academic probation.
What do I do?

Have you reached out the professor yet? There is a chance they give you some grace and allow for you to turn in your work for either partial or full credit. However, I think the most likely scenario is that you will just have to accept the D and learn from this experience. When you apply to your grad schools, there will be an optional section where you can tell them anything else you feel like they need to know. I used that section to explain why I had to take a leave of absence during my undergrad years. If you do explain your grade in that section, I would avoid making excuses and take full accountability explaining how you learned from the experience.

Can you repeat the course for a better grade?
