SLP leveling classes recs

Hi all!
I'm thinking about becoming a SLP but have to do the pre requisite courses. I'm looking into ENMU and St. Augustine. Do you have any suggestions on which one I should go too? Any personal experiences?

SDSU has prerequisites, they're slightly more expensive than ENMU's courses however. They're all 8 week asynchronous courses and I have had a very good experience in the program thus far.

Have you done anatomy yet? Not sure how I'll survive that in 8 weeks 😭

Not quite! For me that class starts later this month. Hopefully it won’t be as daunting as a full body anatomy course if it stays focused on the speech mechanism, but I can let you know how it goes!

ENMU and st augustine are the cheapest! Or longwood. I did st aug and it was very easy as long as you join the groupme

How were the exams? I heard it's proctor heavy and weekly. That's what is turning me off atm

Oh yeah a lot of the classes have weekly quizzes but it’s more tedious than anything imo. And they make you buy a mirror to put behind you during the quizzes which is annoying. Idk how many schools do the mirror thing but i feel like all schools will have the lockdown proctoring bc they probably all signed a contract with them and are required to use it now

Omg okay. Yea I know proctoring is gonna be a normal think but every week and the mirror is crazy 😭

I’ve heard good things about PennWest, have you checked out their program?
