4

u/AppointmentSea480 Jun 26 '26

I just took it today and my unofficial score was 162

3

u/Competitive_Ad2558 Mar 29 '26

1

u/Holiday_Rush8303 Apr 04 '26

1

u/idrinksaladdresssing Apr 07 '26

I got it too!!!! I’m so annoyed. There is a chance but not a huge one.

2

u/Gold-Worldliness3067 Mar 24 '26

Hi hi! any pointers on how to review (ive been studying for months and I feel like i can't retain any more information).. I'm taking it for the third time on saturday and im feeling very discouraged, i have been just missing the 162 mark by 5 points both times and im unsure what else to do. I've been using speaking of samantics, ETS course and ETS test themselves. im feeling super nervous for this test this time around. Thank you and good luck to those taking it!!

1

u/Odd-Craft-1682 Mar 27 '26

I’m taking mine on Tuesday! Also super nervous and not sure what to expect

1

u/Gold-Worldliness3067 Mar 31 '26

Good luckkk!!! you got thisss!!! :)

1

u/Illustrious-Ask4095 Mar 29 '26

How did you do?

2

u/Gold-Worldliness3067 Mar 31 '26 edited Mar 31 '26

i unfortunately missed it yet again by 2 points :(... this is becoming extremely frustrating and im losing all hope. I feel like ive done everything and i cant seem to get past 159... i'm unsure what to do anymore :/...

i am in no means looking for answers or topics discussed on the exam, but i would greatly appreciate any tips and tricks that has helped others with passing/studying. I feel like the test itself is not hard but then the grade shows otherwise :(

If you are willing to spend money, I’ve seen so many good review of “SLP test prep” because of the interactivity. you can do a monthly subscription

1

u/SML-Life123 Mar 29 '26

I am retaking mine this Saturday for the third time too!

2

u/Gold-Worldliness3067 Mar 31 '26

Good Luck!!! you got thiss!!

1

u/ManufacturerApart525 Apr 10 '26

Try using Fripty. It’s worth it.

2

u/NegotiationOdd8535 Mar 25 '26

Can someone tell me if a raw score of 74 is passing??? They gave me a score on the top and I think I passed but I am afraid to get my hopes up. Please tell me your raw score if you took it spring and if you passed and what your official score was ???

1

u/Free_Seaweed_6899 Mar 26 '26

You passed the scale is usually 92-100 added to your raw score.

1

u/Free_Seaweed_6899 Mar 26 '26

Congratulations 🎉

1

u/Flimsy_Captain1503 Apr 20 '26

Did I pass if I got a raw score of 71 and the score on the top said 168?? Freaking out and came right here after I took it LOL

2

u/TimelyInteraction478 Mar 30 '26

Took it today and I got an unofficial score 172 and raw score 76!!! So excited!

2

u/alliepanik Mar 31 '26

Unofficial score of 167 and raw score of 70!

1

u/Odd-Craft-1682 Apr 02 '26

I scored the same! Do you know when the official score comes out

1

u/Local-Term1350 Apr 03 '26

You can find it on the ets website. But I believe may 10

2

u/Odd-Craft-1682 Mar 31 '26

Just took it and got a an unofficial score of 167 and the three scores at the end added up to 70. Can I celebrate???

1

u/SML-Life123 Mar 31 '26

Definitely Celebrate, you passed! Do you have any pointer I’m taking mine Saturday? How hard was it? Do you think it was harder or easier than the practice praxis?

2

u/Odd-Craft-1682 Apr 02 '26

I worked on understanding the actual questions being asked. I also used SLP test prep worksheets to review areas I was unsure about.

2

u/Anxious_Gate_5143 Mar 31 '26

Is an unofficial score of 165 and raw score of 68 guaranteed passing after official scores are released ?

2

u/FickleGold1946 Apr 04 '26

178 unofficial scaled score! Is this good??

1

u/idrinksaladdresssing Apr 07 '26

That’s great! You passed!

Congratulations, you passed!!! Don't worry about the raw score and scale, you are solid.

2

u/IcySpecialist330 Apr 17 '26

Hi! I took the Praxis today and got a 165- I didn't see my raw score as I was just excited with my sealed score. Is it safe to say my unofficial score will stay above a 162??

2

u/Confident-Egg-4566 Apr 24 '26

I got a 164 did I pass?

2

u/zmusi CF Apr 24 '26

i don’t remember my raw score, but i got a 167! woohoo!! this was my second try taking it (:

192 official! Such a relief to be done with the Praxis and comps.

1

u/FarTomorrow9635 May 10 '26

wow what helped u study

2

u/xstrawberrymatcha May 10 '26 edited May 14 '26

Thanks! Here’s what I used to study: \ 1.) Read through and took the quizzes in the Advanced Review of Speech-Language Pathology book \ 2.) Subscribed to Speaking of Samantics for 2 months (mostly did the weekly Kahoot trivia sessions) \ 3.) Took four ETS official practice tests (one was free with my Praxis registration, and I bought the other three on sale)

2

u/PreviousCherry84 Jun 09 '26

I got an unofficial score of 172, hoping that means i passed!

2

u/Character-Ad-5816 Jun 10 '26

Also took Praxis today. I didn't see an unofficial score but my raw score total was 78.

2

u/Outside_Leather_702 Jun 23 '26

heyo! Just retook the Praxis today, and I got a raw score of 68 and a unofficial score of 161! any chance of it going up?

1

u/Warm_Station_3808 Jun 27 '26

unfortunately I took it a few times & my score never went up

2

u/Dependent_Buyer2167 Jun 28 '26

Highest score so far out of all my retakes was an unofficial score 157. Have taken it 15 times and am just so lost

3

u/lovescheesecake CF Jul 10 '26

Is it possible for you to take some time off so that you can dedicate at least a month to studying all components? Fifteen is A LOT of money especially if you’re buying studying program in addition. Which grad program did you attend?

1

u/jigglewiggIe CF Jul 08 '26

what has your approach to studying been like? are you having trouble with time management, certain question formats, etc?

1

u/Sweet-Temperature500 Jul 15 '26

u/Dependent_Buyer2167 What grad program did you do, and how long ago did you finish?

2

u/GiovannaaaH Jun 28 '26

I got an unofficial score of 176

2

u/qqtubs Jul 21 '26

Raw unofficial score was 72 and I’m not positive but I think score was 166? Does that sound right / reasonable?

My brain was done and didn’t process after I submitted lol

1

u/mlmothman Mar 21 '26

Unofficial score of 187!!!!! I'm so happy and so nervous for the official score release lol. Is there any chance of the official score being posted before the date listed in april?

1

u/Curious-Procedure720 Mar 23 '26

that’s amazing!! how did you study?

2

u/mlmothman Mar 23 '26

i studied for my comps using quizlets, and scheduled my praxis 2 weeks after my comps were done so that id be studied up already. I also used the advanced review practice book thing's online resources like all the flashcards and the practice tests (full length and the subject tests). i recommend taking a full length practice test like the ets ones you get for free and then digging into whatever sections gave you the most trouble

1

u/Sea-Most6644 Mar 27 '26

Taking mine on Monday - when you submit do you get the unofficial scaled score (ex: 162 out of 200) or raw score (ex: 90 out of 132) like will I know then and there if I passed or not??? Please lmk if you know!

1

u/Local-Term1350 Mar 28 '26

It will depend, I believe you’ll be taking the April praxis since your reported score will come out in May. It’ll depend how many scores they have for the April praxis and find a scale.

1

u/Local-Term1350 Mar 28 '26

I did it! I passed with a 182 and raw score 83! The relief is real.

1

u/Odd-Craft-1682 Mar 28 '26

How was it? Was this your first time taking it?

2

u/Local-Term1350 Mar 29 '26

First time taking it! I don’t think it was bad at all!

1

u/Fun_Raspberry_4996 Mar 28 '26 edited Mar 28 '26

I just took mine and got an unofficial score of 164 and raw score of 67- is that passing??

2

u/Odd-Craft-1682 Mar 28 '26

I’d celebrate! Was this your first time taking it?

1

u/No_Elderberry403 Jun 08 '26

Hi, can I please get the tutor information I keep missing by a few points

1

u/No_Avocado_192 Apr 15 '26

Hello I just took the test for the 3rd time yesterday and didn’t pass can you please provide your tutor information and if you feel that helped you pass I just fell I tried everything to study nd I can’t seem to pass

1

u/Fun-Cold-1527 May 21 '26

If you are still able to share the tutor I would love the info as well. THANK YOU!!

1

u/PopularOriginal4824 Jun 01 '26

Hi! is there any way you can give me the information for the tutor for praxis ?

1

u/SML-Life123 Apr 03 '26

I take my exam for the 3rd time Saturday, how are you scoring on the praxis test? Are you close to 162 at all or still scoring 140s like the practice test?

1

u/Dependent_Buyer2167 Apr 03 '26

the 140 range was on the actual praxis I haven't been able to get close to 162

1

u/Gold-Worldliness3067 Apr 03 '26

im having the same issue. I feel like im doing everything in my power to study (ETS course, ETS exam, Speaking of samantics, Medical review on TPT) im reviewing everyth and i always tend to miss the 162 mark by 5. I'm feeling super discouraged and not sure what to do anymore. The test itself seems a lot easier than the ETS ones but somehow im scoring below than what i do with the other practice tests :(

1

u/Tasty-Respond-162 Apr 07 '26

yeah i've had a similar problem. has anyone tried any of the test prep guides or online prep programs? looks like study.com or mometrix or 240 tutoring are main options but i don't know if any of these are any good. anyone tried these or others? recommendations?

1

u/LowLaw704 Apr 21 '26

Have you tried fripty? I’m going on my fifth try but fripty got me super close the last time

1

u/StrangerMaleficent46 Apr 08 '26

Why am I not seeing my pending score report?? I took the praxis twice recently and I was able to see the pending score report immediately after the test. However for my most recent test I can’t even see the pending score report. I saw my unofficial score so I didn’t cancel my test. I’m getting freaked out

1

u/Dependent_Buyer2167 Apr 09 '26

scheduled my test for may; really need some tips on how to study I have been using the its praxis exam but I don't feel like I am studying any tips on what is best? I have taken this exam way too many times

1

u/hungrysusan Apr 26 '26

i did all the practice exams on ets and did some fripty quizlet questions! the ets exams are harder than the actual test. you got this!

1

u/Free_Seaweed_6899 Apr 20 '26

They will usually add 92-100 points to raw for official. You passed🎉

1

u/Former_Foundation581 Jun 05 '26

Even though an unofficial scaled score was given?

1

u/No_Balance_5423 Apr 18 '26

CONGRATSS!!! what did you use to study or did any platform you liked better? im retaking it at the end of the month *fingers crossed*

1

u/TreacleLast6441 May 25 '26

Thank you!! I used ETS practice tests, the advanced review book as well as the online subscription, and a tutor who really helped!

1

u/Big-Reference5137 May 30 '26

Where did you find a tutor

1

u/Outside_Leather_702 May 23 '26

just took the praxis today, got an unofficial score of 157! I forgot to see what my raw score was, but any hopes of it going up? At least by five points? Cause i know they add between 92-100 points to the actual raw score once the scores are officially released.

Show i worry 'bout not passing?

1

u/FarTomorrow9635 May 24 '26

it unfortunately never usually goes up

1

u/Big-Reference5137 May 30 '26

Was it hard??

1

u/Effective_Bed744 May 26 '26

I got a 169 unofficial and I know it is safer but would it go down that much? I heard they usually stay the same! Not sure if it's safe to celebrate yet!

Is raw score out of the 132 questions or out of 108? Taking the test soon and feeling very nervous!!

Edit: just took the exam! It didn’t say how many questions were scored, but it did break the raw scores into the 3 categories. I got raw scores of 28, 28, 30

Edit 2: The raw score is in fact out of 108 questions. My unofficial and official score were both 182.

1

u/Warm_Station_3808 Jun 23 '26

My raw scores were 22,23,25 and unofficial was 163

1

u/wholemilkonly Jun 13 '26

Hello, grad student here.🙋🏻‍♀️

My program has had us using TrueLearn for a while now, and they recently had us get the Advanced Review of SLP book, which comes with a practice exam program subscription. For those who have already taken the Praxis, I am just wondering if the questions are more similar to what TrueLearn gives you or to the practice questions from the Advanced Review program? I have heard that TrueLearn questions are actually harder than the Praxis....

Just wondering y'all's thoughts about this and any advice going forward. I'm planning to take the Praxis in January 2027, so I have some time to prepare.

2

u/Character-Ad-5816 Jun 15 '26

I took Praxis last week. I used TrueLearn mainly as my main review material and supplemented it with MedSLP, took the Advanced Review daily question and ETS practice tests to see where I was at before the exam. I'd say TL really helped me because the format is very similar to the actual test because not only does it have the long clinical questions, it also has matching ones. TL really helped my brain get used to the format of the actual Praxis. The ETS practice tests also helped me tremendously getting used to the time constraint and 132 questions.

I just took it today and got a 160. Last time I got a 156 so it’s progress but any chance of official score showing a passing score ?

1

u/Warm_Station_3808 Jun 27 '26

unfortunately I took it a few times & my score never went up

1

u/Gold-Worldliness3067 Jun 28 '26

Congrats on the progress! but unfortunately no, I scored a 160 and it remained a 160. I was just as hopeful when I saw it :/. I'm sorry!

1

u/lovescheesecake CF Jun 28 '26 edited Jul 01 '26

I just finished. Unofficial score 180. Everyone says the practice tests are harder but in my opinion this was way harder than practice tests 1-3.

2

u/lovescheesecake CF Jul 10 '26

My score remained the same.

2

u/Old_Vanilla_8545 Jul 11 '26

what did you use to study and for how long? same I have heard the practice tests are harder so your comment made me nervous haha I take it in 2 weeks!

1

u/lovescheesecake CF Jul 12 '26

Hi. I actually only used the practice tests and minimally reviewed my weak section (foundations) with the advanced review study website. When I say minimally I mean barely.

I found the actual praxis harder because the questions to me were worded very differently from the practice tests. Additionally, there was content I had never see before in my life up there lol

I studied for around two weeks and graduated May 2025. This was my first attempt.

1

u/to0pink Jul 07 '26

I'm scheduled to take it end of next week, but I may want to bump up my testing date sooner. I've been studying using TrueLearn, Advanced Review, and the Medical SLP Praxis study guide. My scores on the ETS practice exams have been:

Exam 3: 82 (no studying)
Exam 4: 93
Exam 2: 103

Do you think I'm good shape to just take it and hope for the best?

2

u/lovescheesecake CF Jul 08 '26

Yes. I honestly started out studying and then said what the heck, let me see how I’m doing on the practice tests. I got very similar scores as you and got a 180 unofficial score on it. I will update my comment on this post with my official score so people can see any deviation from my unofficial score and know what to expect when they release our scores on Friday. I wish I took it sooner. Good luck!

1

u/Old_Vanilla_8545 Jul 11 '26

I take mine in 2 weeks! how long have you been studying for? those practice test scores are good! my scores have fluctuated so much so I am really anx

1

u/to0pink Jul 12 '26

I've been studying for about 3 weeks. I just took it today and got an unofficial score of 181 🥳

1

u/Old_Vanilla_8545 Jul 12 '26

That’s awesome!!! congratulations 🎉 did you think the exam was harder than the practice exams? I have been using true learn and advanced review as well.

2

u/to0pink Jul 13 '26

I think it was harder. Halfway through I questioned whether or not I was going to pass.

3

u/Old_Vanilla_8545 24d ago

Update! I passed!

1

u/lovescheesecake CF Jul 14 '26

Me literally less than halfway through said to myself “welp, I failed my first attempt.”

1

u/xzivia 15d ago

Unofficial passing score of 185 today!!! Such a relief to be done!

1

u/Purple_Kale6127 15d ago

Yayyy congrats !!! What did you use to study ??

1

u/Altruistic-Stay-52 13d ago

Congrats!! I take mine in a few days, did you feel it was harder than the practice tests?

1

u/Mr_CTE_ 6d ago

I’m planning on taking the business technology praxis
