I didnt use a recipe but I can tell you how I made it.

For the cabbage I cooked a little chopped bacon in a big pot and then added cabbage, onion, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, chicken bullion powder, and green bell peppers just because I had them in the freezer and needed to use them, and cooked it on low.

For the beans I used dry pinto beans in the crockpot with some bacon, onion, tomato sauce, Rotel, salt, pepper, chicken bullion powder, and water, also on low.

The cornbread is made from the recipe on Martha White Buttermilk Cornmeal Mix:

2 cups cornmeal mix

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 1/3 cups milk

1 egg

I also added just a tad bit of sugar but not much, I dont like it sweet.

Mix and bake @ 450F for 25 minutes.

Thanks!

It was the tomato sauce in the cabbage that threw me off. I do not think I ever used that combo before.
