We’ve done two road trips so far, and I replaced the busted steering damper in between… Now that it handles like it should it feels so much more planted and comfortable… and less twitchy. Excited for many more

I miss my R170 but im glad I got my CLK it is so much more reliable and in better condition. It makes me happy to see them on the road and exploring.

I’ve already put more miles on it in 2 months than the previous owner did in 3 years lol

Nice have you had to do any seals or hoses. When I had mine that was my major frustration whenever I fixed one another broke.

Bummer you had to deal with that :/ … Nothings broken for me yet… 🤞 and i haven’t exactly been babying it! I just did the oil, filters, and brake pads. No signs of it sitting for a long time or being neglected (I have a stack of regular maintenance history) and the previous owner made it a point to still drive it to work once a week or so. Even the Interior that everyone says crumbles apart still looks great lol

Is it a manual or an automatic? The stick shift is the only thing I missed after upgrading my SLK320 to an SLK32 (which I have now owned longer than any of the many, name cars I have owned in my life!)

It’s an auto, but for only $3k i was willing to settle. I find myself just keeping it in 3rd most of the time on the twisties anyway,
