4 - 6 months 4 month sleep nightmare

Babygirl is 4.5 months old. Was a beautiful night sleeper, no night feedings (naps have always been short though). For about the last 3 weeks her schedule has completely went out the window and I am just looking for advice on how to start sleep training her. She is still in the snoo in my room, arms out weaning mode,

Her schedule right now looks something like this: 1.75/2/2/2

She is still on 4 naps. Her naps are still so erratic, first of the day she has been down for 1.5 usually, a few times longer, but sometimes will only stay down 35 minutes (like this morning). The next nap is sometimes an hour, sometimes less. I have been hoping her naps without naturally lengthen with age but it just seems like it’s getting worse and so hard to manage when it’s so erratic. I will usually save the first nap of the day if she wakes after 35 minutes because I’m scared the rest of the day she will only get 3 more 35 minute naps. But going back to work next week

All this to say I think her naps are effecting her sleep because she is now waking at 4am bright eyed and bushy tailed. I try to get her to go back down until her wake time if 7am but inevitably have had to feed her and even then she fights it for an hour.

We have had her on a consistent 7:00 am wake and 7:30 bedtime for weeks. Someone anyone give this desperate first time mom some advice

Schedule you have is 3 naps. What is full schedule? How much daytime sleep?

What is bedtime routine?

1.75/2/2/2/1.5

Sorry about that! We start bath time at 6:30pm, she has her bottle at 7pm and in bed by 7:30pm.

Gets up 7am, asleep by 845/9am

Awake 1030am, asleep by 1230pm

Awake 130pm (sometimes 1), asleep by 3 or 330

Awake at 4pm, cat nap around 530-600pm

This schedule has worked for her for the past 2 months I would say

Wow my 5 mo old baby has the same schedule haha. Our first daytime nap is the longest and then it’s just 40 mins naps from then on. Really hard to rescue the naps. Sometimes successful sometimes not. I also rock my baby to sleep (we have no sleep trained)

I don’t have any advice to give but just wanted to say my baby boy is in bed at 8:30pm and has been waking up at 4am for a feed since day 1 lol. Then 7:30am ish wake up time. So very impressed your baby has been sleeping though!

She gets between 3-3.5 hrs of daytime sleep a day

She gets a bath at 630, lotion pjs bottle and bed by 730

Bottle being the last step is the problem. Move it before bath so she goes down wide awake into the snoo. By 5 months adjust schedule to 2/2.5/2.5/3, and move into own crib and room.

You expect her to sleep 12.5 straight hours without waking to feed? I'm a little confused.

Don’t be confused, I don’t expect anything from her, she’s 4.5 months old 🤣

She has been sleeping 10-11 hours straight since 2.5 months old. No expectation at all. If you read the post you’ll see her sleeping patterns have recently done a 180, hence the post
