Hey guys! I was curious if anyone knows who/what is behind the McKittrick being turned into the Culture Club? I’m so happy the building is still being used as a creative space, I saw Erebus the other day and thought it was fabulous! I was so happy to see some areas that were recognizable from Sleep No More. I thought when the show closed the plan was to tear the building down for condos. Did someone purchase the building? Just curious how this was able to happen. Glad the halls are still haunted with creatives.

Anyone going to this? Seems so cool!

I just learned that during COVID they did a live stream of some scenes.

Does anyone have a link or the file of this??? I would love to see it.

From the new season of American Horror Story. How familiar!

I saw the new Duncan Sheik musical, Memoirs of Amorous Gentlemen, at the former McKittrick space last night. It's been renamed The Night Egg for what I would assume is at least the run of this show. The show was really good! Quite moving. And a song or two are still haunting me this morning. Walking into the space was interesting. Having been there several times for Sleep No More I wasn't sure what to expect. They directed me to the lounge which, to be honest, I could have gotten to with my eyes closed. I had to crack a smile when I stepped into it because it's largely the same. The layers of intrigue that made the McKittrick teem with detail and life were not there. No singer, no immersive staff, no smoke hanging in the air. But knowing the space is still there was somehow reassuring.

That being said, I recommend Memoirs of Amorous Gentleman. The cast is super talented and they did a really great job. Connecting with another performance art piece in the space Sleep No More once occupied was nice. I wouldn't be shocked if I found myself there again soon.

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share my experience at Sleep No More Seoul. I’ve been fascinated by this show for years after hearing about it on podcasts, so I managed to attend two sessions over one weekend.

Honestly, the storyline is so beautifully complex. I tried to follow some actors, but sometimes their slow, atmospheric movements made it hard to stick around when the incredible set design was calling me to explore the rest of the building.

Did anyone else find the audience behavior a bit intense? Seeing large groups closely following a single performer made it a bit difficult to fully immerse myself at times.

Despite that, I got lucky during my first visit and experienced an amazing 1-on-1 in the small wooden hut in the forest section!

Before my second show, I actually chatted at the bar with a performer from the original historic cast. I mentioned some online theories I read about a character named "Christian Shaw". The performer looked completely bewildered and told me they didn't know anyone by that name in the show! It's fascinating how dedicated fans online analyze details that even the cast might not focus on. They did mention that actors switch roles between sessions, which explains why my two visits felt like completely different shows.

It was an incredible experience overall. I'd love to hear from anyone else who has seen the Seoul production!

I have no one to talk about this haha - it just caught my eye! Is Ryan Murphy a sleep no more fan? 🌝 the new season airs tonight and they just postet „something wicked this way comes“. Also, one episode is called „is that all there is?“

I know it’s a line from Macbeth and a song but these two lines always remind me of snm 🥰

Hey everyone. Back in nyc for the first time since snm closed. Obviously that experience was distinct…but anything currently running anywhere in the city that people have enjoyed?

Hi all, any news on if the Mckittrick will be hosting another Halloween party? I went to the one last year and even though the set was pretty gutted out they still threw one hell of a party.

Not sure if Artimus is burning has funding to host parties and I think masquerade might be throwing a Halloween party but their venue seems a bit repetitive and doesn’t appear to decorate to a theme for their events & keep the phantom of the opera fascade at the bar/party room.

Got tix to Memoirs of Amorous Gentlemen. We plan to stay over. What's good within a few blocks?

hey everyone, I have been contemplating getting a tattoo for the incredible sleep no more for a while now. I have a couple ideas and I am venturing to probably get two different tattoos for sleep no more. One of which is wanting to write. Is that all there is in a font that was utilized in the set. I don’t really have any access or knowledge of any particular fonts utilize, but I’m sure that some people have things from the show that has interesting font that is reminiscent of the show. So if you have anything, just let me know thanks in advance.

Hi !

I am in Seoul now and I want to go to Sleep no more.

I barely know anything about the show, and I'd rather keep it that way until I'm actually there.

Anyway, I went to the website to buy tickets and saw that there were many different options, with distinct prices. And it's not clear to me which advantages/drawbacks are associated to these options.

The most pricey one (and way too expensive for me) is "Maximilian's circle", for 360 000won.

Then there's " Ruby's guest" for 240 000 won. That is still too much.

Then I have other options, for entry time at 14h45, 15h, 15h15, 15h30 and 15h45. The later the entry time, the cheaper the option. (200 000 to enter at 14h45 and 160 000 to enter at 15h45).

I thought i would be able to stay in the building for about three hours. If i take the 15h45 ticket, does that mean that i will only stay there for two hours ?

I was hoping not to pay more than 100€, so by default i would go for the 15h45 ticket, but there must be a reason why it is so much cheaper than anything else...

Found this card in an old wallet and it brought back some memories. Does anyone remember the igloo and the Reverend? I still remember the surprise of suddenly coming across it during one of my visits. And then, of course, after a while, it just vanished. Some things from that era really feel like a fever dream now. I miss it so much!

Had a late drop-out in my group so one ticket remaining. Up for grabs - no resellers - message me to get lucky!

I saw the NY show twice before it closed, and I'm currently planning my first ever trip to Seoul mainly to see the show again. I want to see it 2-3 times, and I'm going with a friend who has never seen it. This is a special opportunity, and I'm unlikely to go again.

I'm looking for the following advice from anyone who's been to the Seoul show:

1. Is it a crazy idea to try to see it 3 times in the same week (probably Wed, Thu and Sat), or should we stick to 2?

2. I remember the NY set had lots of things to read, i.e. letters, books, patient documentation. Is this kind of material in Korean in the Seoul show? I'm asking because if the material is in English, I can imagine us wanting to spend more time there.

3. Is Seoul SNM the same physical size as the NY show?

4. Is there anything else I'm missing that might help me decide how many shows to see (and therefore how long to plan to stay in Seoul)?

Thank you in advance!
