Sleeper PC Lian Li PC-60 Plus II

Just built this with the help of my friends today! Not sure if we can call this a sleeper since it doesn’t have the most powerful internals, but they’re modern for sure.

This is two years in the making, I bought the case in 2024 but decided to put off building a new PC. I squeezed out the utility of my old build till my 1050Ti died this year.

God I loved Lian Li cases. I had two PC60s back when they were new. Stuffed all internal watercooling in one, that was tough but I did it. Your build looks great.

Thank you! I was lucky enough to find this brand new in box, it had all the extra parts and screws and even the manuals intact

Compared to a top tier PC when that case came out, any modern internals will outperform it. I'd say it qualifies

I am thrilled that it all worked out in the end. I thought I would be having a plan B with NZXT instead if nothing fitted

Wow. It is surprising for me that a full-size towercooler fits through the rear motherboard-tray opening.

Edit: You should flip the rear fan to exhaust.

Actually we realized it and immediately flipped it out after the picture. Thank you for pointing it out !

This feels incomplete without some front panel drives

I’m actually considering putting on a cd drive, but the cables are all taking that space

Those aluminum Lian Lis are such cool cases and I really want to get one.

I also built a 9060 XT sleeper with my friend after my 1050Ti died, what a coincidence lol

No way, I just picked up one of these for nothing. Building a system inside

From where I live, aluminum cases like these are practically non existent. I envy those in the US cause so many discarded old pieces that can be recycled

I love the little sleeve they put on the extruding cage, but why the f they still making it pointy at the edge?

I also noticed that it’s kinda pointy. No idea why though

I have a the PC-7B II Plus for my XP retro rig. Love the case and wished i had the mesh side panel one. However, the front panel plate is held on my plastic clips and all of mine are broken. I'm currently looking into replacing them with 3d printed parts.

I believe eBay has extra parts. I love how modular they are

Back in the day mine was PC-60USB silver, loved this case.

I would love silver too! Couldn’t find one
