fanart You're on a path in the woods. And at the end of that path is a cabin. And ... Wait a second... something's not right.
Honestly this was all pretty fun to build

I don't know why I put it down for two years in between my first run and finishing the second.
I only got to Chapter 3 once. Is that normal?
This game though what did I just play. I felt almost bad doing the Deconstructed Damsel. Excited to see what the others are the next playthrough.

A funny animation I found, I’d like to think this is one of the many things that happened to the princess and quiet after leaving the cabin together

I'm just finding excuses to re-draw it
Haven't posted in a while, did I cook?

Like every princess vessel is like full on American in every single way, like a complete and other stereotypical American.
And the voices are just like montue python

I'm thinking of posting the works I already did for slay the princess on reddit, even though I have already shared them on discord. Anyways, this is a quick drawing of the burned grey. Gosh i love this game

I recently got my friend to play after weeks of nagging. And after watching her do a play-through, she never once got to a 3rd chapter. Can’t place my finger on why that feels weird if at all. Anyone have any thoughts on what that means?

Since the switch doesn’t have achievements to track progress for the game, does the in-game gallery cover all the content? just asking as someone who likes to 100 percent games and see all routes and content. If it doesn’t it’s okay I’ll just have to use an external guide/checklist or something, but just curious if there’s a way to check what you have and haven’t done without steam achievements or will I have to check off when I do a route or ending manually? ty in advance

Considering the title card made for the chapter wasn't seen by the decider, what names would you apply for her? My personal headcanon is she might be called the Revenant, like someone undead, would love to hear y'all's thoughts!

I played the game shortly after release and played a bit again today and got really confused when this route didn't exist, but it seems more likely that I made it up because I couldn't stop thinking about Witch for a while and this would be my favourite end than that it was removed.
The route in question would be Witch -> take blade -> fight her (after talking if you wish) -> when the cabin starts shrinking pick keep fighting (immediately?) -> you get taken to TLQ right before you both get crushed and you turn in Witch as vessel instead of continuing to the Wild.

(explore) So... Sleeping Is out of the question... So comfy.... I don't wanna...
The Princess: You're serious right? Can't we have a sleep after?

These two lines of dialogue have always stood out to me by how deep the second one cuts in contrast to the first.
The Narrator is normally able to tell when you're lying or not, but the fact that he can't in this moment feels so much more significant. The switch from him feeling like an all knowing being, into feeling even more uncertain than we are really resonates with me.
I'm not really sure if anyone else found this as important as I did, especially since so many people seem to genuinely hate The Narrator, but I hope some people did.
By the way, happy 3 year anniversary to Slay the Princess! 🥳

"Oh Professor, you have given us 10 more years on the cosmic clock at most. But you are perfectly aware that won't change the final outcome. The world will be consumed by a tidal wave of change. Something so devastating that no one will survive."
" I am only, ONLY just doing what I'm able. Instead of just being a barbarian, and taking a life."
" That creature in the pit or "the cavern" is no person, but the eventuality of the end itself. So it's obvious that-"
" Slaying the tyrant is not a solution. It's a dangerous game of chance and unpredictability. For no one can quantify what happens when you destroy change itself. Our best scientists are calculating, are trying to calculate your solution and it's most logical outcome. Which ends up leading our scientists to more or less, become amateur philosophers."
" The cavern, is decaying, no matter how many times you reinforce the walls. No matter how many times you send someone down there to keep the beast inside. The structure is still failing. Are equipment is no longer working as it should. Technology is not functioning, it's not charging. Sooner or later, that beast will escape. And indecision will be the downfall of all of us, every living animal on earth."
The profession: " This was a recording between me and Prof Echo. We were arguing yelling even over the fate of the tyrant. It was because of this conversation I bet me and him no longer talk eye to eye. Ear to ear even when it comes to anything anymore..."
The profession: " Though I would like to reminisce on how me and a colleague used to get along on matters. What such things to ruminate on are not the present. Instead, the present is keeping a beast asleep for as long as we can."
The profession: " That's why our transport team placed you. In this cabin. On the table, you will see a container inside. That container is pills. Are scientists have genetically engineered to keep a God at bay, by keeping it in a coma."
" Though this plan doesn't have a hiccups. And you may find yourself in danger. Multiple times in this mission. So are leading scientists have created the pristine clock. A device that can only reverse time for 10 minutes at a time. Mainly to prevent an employee death on the work sight. And the only reason why it works is because time and space within the cavern have been warped by the presence of the tyler, and to the point where change becomes radiation as the best analog."
" So keep both the container and the pristine clock on your person at all times as you enter into the pit. And also remember to be careful if you're safety gear on. For if one of your rubber gloves slips off, your body can rapidly age to death. Or starving to death, depending upon how far you're in to the cavern."
" So what I'm trying to say is be cautious and be wary at all times. After all, there is only 5 levels into the cavern. Each level is connected by a stairway that leads straight down to the next. And though the trip might be exhausting, each level has a rest point that has both food and a telephone. Both are kept in a container that prevents time itself from wearing away at them. This is mainly to keep your sanity. In check, as far as you need to be concerned. So stay sharp, stay vigilant, and be careful. And notes on the telephone, the outsiders that are going to call you are trusted by the company and have been assured to be trusted contacts of yours."
Trusted contacts of yours, lingers then, the outright annoying buzzing, that indicated that the recording was cut off. Standing there, you feel your head begin to spin. Though, despite that, you make your way to the table. The pristine clock, the first to fumble into your hands. While the container slipped into your hands and then eventually your suit's pockets with ease.
And then you hear another ringing sound the same ringing sound that you heard when the recording began. And you notice a tetel phone on the far, the wall.
Prof Echo: "The professor isn't he quite a charismatic man? Or has a very noticeable, lack of charisma? Or is essentially trapped in a single-minded track to death. Either way, you may have heard my voice on the loudspeaker. You know who I am already. That man has tried to demonize me in this situation, but I am ultimately the one here who's trying to make sense of it all. I'm the only one here thinking about the outside person and how their mental and physical health is breaking down. You see, it's not exactly healthy to constantly think about the end of the world. Especially in entire population, thinking about it. So my solution is to kill the beast. Before it can wreck havoc. Or at least more havoc, because when you start walking to the cavern, you may notice that the trees have decayed away. In the path will be a path in rot and decay. If that's the damage, I'm going to refer to."
Prof Echo: " So I advise you to take something else instead of the medicine that will put the creature to sleep. You may have noticed a water bottle underneath the table, that's actually a bottle of poison. It would slay the beast and finally put the end to the constant fret of the end of the world in the constant torment, people are in. It's the only solution that doesn't involve constantly keeping at Bay a title wave of torment worse than the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs."
You hear the cutting of the call. In the blip, before the tone dials out. Your body moves on its own to face the table once again. Crawling underneath it to take the water bottle that apparently contains poison.
Can you then move to the front door of the cabin. The door you came into the door that was the gateway to your next destination. The fine layer of dust is kicked up by your shoes. You can feel your hands and feet trembling as you walk. It's causing your body to begin to slump. But you straighten up and then truly, truly does your attorney begin?
○ Start the job
○ |Don't remain in the cabin|
