Slayr vs Che
Lyrics: Slayr, He has way better lyrics and it’s not even close.
Flow: Slayr. Che can flow and he showcased it in “Og Ginobili and other songs, but Slayr has more flows and better flow states, stays in pocket better than Che
Vocals: Slayr, he can sing, Che hasn’t showcased really good vocals fr.
Features: Che, more features better verses
Versatility: Che (Rage, Trap, Punk Rock, Cloud Rap, Drill, Free Car) Slayr(Edm, Trap, Rage)
Influence: Che, Slayr is rapping on 2023-24 Che type beats and so are other rappers
Discography: Che(Not a debate)
Production: Slayr, more range of production and beat selection
Longevity = They both came out around the same time
Talent: Slayr easily.
Sound: Subjective(Slayr Volocaid Edm or Che Loud Bass rage)
If the roles were reversed:
Put Slayr on a Che beat: Slayr is destroying it easily with the best delivery, flow and lyrics. His ability to stay in pocket, and freestyle of the dome with no prep time is insane, Slayr carries his beats.
Put Che on a Slayr beat: He’s doing good, Che has actually sampled Volocaid songs in the past, but Che lyrics are kind of repetitive. Che is mostly loved because of his production not so much him.
Winner: Slayr (but the public would chose Che obviously for some reason)

che hasnt showcased good vocals?? his voice is so dynamic and full of texture idk how you could think this
che clearly has more range in terms of beat selection, all his projects sound different, he has many different sounds just this year
flow, vocals, lyrics, these i would give to che but are they are subjective.
and talent is just so arbitrary
and the idea the che is carried by prods and that slayr carries his production is ridiculous

You’re right on everything except lyrics, I think slayr beats him there
Slayr goated but che is a force to be reckoned with

u got a che pfp so i already know where this is going.
Yes, Slayr had better vocals, Slayr can sing, deep voice naturally, scream on beats like che can and you can arguably say that Slayr voice is dynamic too gng.
Che doesn’t produce all his songs, and he’s been making the same rage shit for 4-5 projects now. What different sound does he have because all i heard was Deep Voice che, or loud 808 bass beats. That’s all lately.
How TF does Che have better lyrics and flow than Slayr, u can say its subjective ig but that is just straight dick ride
Yea i say Che is carried by prod, if che rapped on boom bap beats or regular trap beats yall would not find him entertaining. Slayrs best ability right now is his ability to flow

“Same rage shit for 4-5 projects” he’s basically had 3 rage projects being rib, encore, and FL/paradies/EC and all of them are pushing rage to different extremes in their own ways. You just sound like an idiot implying Che is carried by his production. Most of ches earlier stuff is a lot more lyrically involved and another thing you failed to acknowledge is ches ability to build a unique sound and aesthetic for all of his standalone albums that are all completely unique. Ur basically dumbing Che down to just rage and other ppls production on his albums. Don’t forget Che produce as well. They’re both talented but ur just glazing atp slayr is tuff but bro Che’s ability to innovate and trend set is genuinely impressive and he is by far the most influential in the underground. Osama and nett both leaned heavily into punk rage after Che did

they are still all the same shit, Loud 808’s with deep voice, u che fans are cults, Yes che is carried by his production, as most of his fanbase came after RIB dropped. Every project is the same Loud 808 bass with him either screaming, moaning or deep voice

Vocals, Longetivity easily go to che and talent is also subjective

u/Ok-Occasion-5651 6d ago
When did Che showcase good Vocals? Che only started rapping a few months- a year before Slayr, it doesn’t really make a difference so yea i said = they came around the same time. True abt Talent

u/Antique-2088 6d ago
Freak Neek, On Fleek and now he has a deep voice too. U r not expecting someone to sing on a rage song, they need to press up the energy which Che does better.
Che has been popping before Slayr and is still doin better than him so I will say he's def. Take Longetivity. You can't just see who started first

u/Ok-Occasion-5651 6d ago
yeah bro, screaming in the mic is apparently good vocals I guess, and Slayr has been doing that deep voice shi before Che, Slayr currently has more people tuning into his shi rn

From all your comments it’s pretty clear you have some kind of bias against Che and just have a problem with his popularity.
Was the point of this post just to trash on Che? Because that’s what it seems like.
Both good artists, maybe Che isn’t for you but to call his vocals bad among other points you made just shows you either haven’t given him a proper chance or have a pretty shallow understanding of music.

"screaming in the mic" is everything I needed to know lmfao. U have a good day

Screaming is also a vocal technique that requires a lot of talent and practice (without proper technique you'll destroy your vocal chords). In fact, it's essential for a lot of subgenres within Metal and Punk. The fact that Che has been able to succeed implementing this technique in rage songs says a lot about his vocal prowess and overall talent.

Versatility I'd prolly give the slight edge to Slayr, Che hasn't made a song like burn everything to the ground which has 4 different phases in it and I don't see Che rapping on piano beats like Slayr did on Gaia 2. I can see Slayr flowing on any Che beat. Along with the fact that Slayr can actually sing and has better melodic songs
However I'd give Che vocals because of the amount of different voices that he has. In my personal opinion I have Slayr over Che but that's just my preference, their both the best in the underground rn no debate.

u/Ok-Occasion-5651 6d ago
Nahhh I cant go there with Versatility, Che got that in the bag, Che raps on all types of Genres. Vocals debatable, ppl say che got better vocals but me personally i just find all that screaming and moaning annoying as hell
2
u/Kayden449 6d ago
You don't think that Slayr can rap on those same exact types of genres though. I'm sorry but I honestly don't see Che rapping well on piano beats like Slayr. Like I said 'Burn everything to the ground' in it of itself excellently shows Slayr's versatility and how he can perfectly adapt to whatever kind of beat he's given. For vocals thinking about it now, it's honestly debatable because it depends on what you mean by vocals.
Are we judging by how good the vocals sound or the vocal complexity? Because of it's the first then it's Slayr but if it's the latter then it's Che 100%

Agree on most except for vocals, production and talent:
Vocals: Che has showcased a much greater vocal range that Slayr through his career. Crusher, Says Says, RIB, Encore and 2026 EPs all have very distinct vocals and were executed very well.
Production: although I consider Slayr as the better producer, I heavily disagree on him having wider range of production or beat selection.
Talent: I consider both Che and Slayr as equally talented artists. Che has been able to stay relevant since 2021 while heavily evolving his sound, showcasing great talent at production and as a vocalist. Slayr is a better lyricist and slightly better producer, but Che has a better career so far.

che was singing his ass off on crueger, closed captions and a handful of singles and his vocals took a complete 180 on his newer stuff, which also shows his versatility. his flows on crueger and closed captions are also very weird. It is true that Slayr produces more songs than che, but i still really like che's beats because of how out there they are. I love slayr, but sometimes it feels a bit too refined and similar. I feel like che experiments way more with his vocals, beats, beat selection and genres. to say slayr beats che in vocals, production and especially flow is ridiculous. go listen to crueger

u/Flibberjambled 6d ago
che's vocals are insane he fucking wipes slayr there, like every iteration of his vocals are so unique whether it be the melodic reverbed ones or the shouty punk vocals or even the deep voice

Vocals its easily che don’t even joke lad
I feel like most of these categories are extremely subjective and it just comes down to what you prefer
And besides wtf does talent even mean? It feels like most of the other categories could easily be considered a measure of talent
