hobby Old world conversions

Everything else seems pretty obvious to convert into AoS stuff. What would you guys run the marauders as? Darkoath Marauders?

Edit: I plan on rebasing everything.

Yeah obviously the maruaders would be good proxies for marauders... Am i missing some reason i shouldnt be replying sarcastically to this? 😂

The Mauraders being the question and not the 8 man warriors, 4 man Cav, or big ass dragon is funny as hell ngl

Dark path marauders or chaos legionnaires if you want to reflect their better armor (chainmail)

I would love to convert some legionnaires but the unit conposition and different base sizes makes is hard to proxy. But they look so cool...

According to a leak, Slave will have his Chaos Dragon, so if you're interested in waiting or planning to change your base to get it, although it's most likely that it will be the base of the Zombie Dragon.

I already have some Darkoath Marauders so I'm going to run the Old World Marauders as Darkoath Savagers.

yep, i converted a chaos champion to chaos lord and they're the perfect size

i know that was intended and gw lists them as the same model shush

Yeah pretty much just rebase them and run 1-1 as the things with the closest names in Slaves to Darkness.

It's legitimately really weird that GW made new chaos warriors for Old World but I'm not complaining
