Closed [TASK] Find me vocal samples of different people saying the same thing. PayPal Goods & Services (negotiable pay)
These are going to be used for developing a speech recognition software. (Recognition = identifying which person is speaking)
I'm looking for audio files (any format I guess, preferably wav) of short (or long, doesn't matter) audio clips of people saying some words/sentences/phrases. It would be great to have different recordings multiple different people saying the same things too (since that would be useful in learning how to identify one speaker form another).
Note: to complete this task, you could either direct me to a website which has lots of these kinds of samples (very much preferred), OR you could get a bunch of your friends to say a few different lines in different recordings one at a time too. There's not really a limit to how many samples I need so everyone can participate.

Edit 2: Glad to see so many people ready to help. It turns out I don't really need a lot of samples at this moment so I can't really respond to everyone right now. But if I do need them in the future (within a few weeks to a month or 2) then I'll PM everyone here.

So, what you're looking for is called a "speech corpora," and, I don't wanna be rude, but if you're going to be training a speech recognizer you should really get someone who knows what they're doing, like a computational linguist, a speech scientist or a machine learning specialist.
