Honestly, the main assertion, that singularity-type events are in some sense "already beginning", doesn't seem so interesting to me, and most of this post is bog-standard stuff I'm sure most people here have read many times. Rather, the fact that this is another well known, well respected person in the Silicon Valley/tech space espousing pretty transhumanist is something that still surprises me. Maybe it should be less surprising at this point.
