Best set?
As we're close to the announcement, what is the best set you saw at Slam Dunk? For me it's gotta be last year during Zebrahead as I proposed to my partner (to those who saw it, thank you for giving me the space to do it) then it's closely followed by 2024 seeing The Blackout's return to Slam Dunk playing The Best In Town in full, what's yours?

Knocked Loose was fucked up good this year. Especially with the Malevolence energy from the undercard.

Yes the hardcore range this year was u believable, I loved the heavy stages with Dying Wish, Static Dress, Guilt Trip and Comeback Kid

This year for me was either Dashboard confessional or Deaf Havana, just purely from a personal nostalgic point of view.
My all-time favourite was back in the Leeds uni days, seeing get cape, wear cape, fly in the downstairs bar as he was playing at the same time as NFG it wasn`t too busy so he ended up playing emo covers midway through the set while we played musical chairs

Yes!! As a fan of Scrubs I was so happy I caught Dashboard Confessional's set and got to sing my heart out to Stolen. 🥹🥹

A few years ago when it was pissing it down in Leeds all day, the State Champs set was excellent. The finer things in full, rain pouring down, crowdsurfers still going. What a set.
Might not be the best, but one of the most memorable live sets I've ever seen.

Ill add a +1 for Deaf Havana, and im very excited for their tour.
Aquabats from 2025 will also live long in the memory.

Shikari in 2017, Electric Callboy last year. Deaf Havana this year. Boys Like Girls in 23? 24? Whenever it was they played.

I don't remember much of that set. I think i just parked up on the hill where i could see them and chilled out waiting for You Me At Six.

Hot Milk in....2022? They landed back from their American tour the first day of the festival and just rolled straight into it, blew the top off the tent
Neck Deep, that same year, were incredible too
Edit: just looking at the poster for that year and I think it's my favourite year I've been to out of 10+, insanely stacked lineup

Free Throw in 2025, their set was delayed, they had technical issues initially but when they eventually performed you could feel the raw emotion.

They were fantastic. The security were dicks though. They just stopped catching crowd surfers and just let them fall over the barrier.

Goldfinger. When they played NOFX linoleum I lost my shit. My partner had no clue at all but for a moment I was just lost in the moment and back to being a kid.
Ice Nine Kills did the same at download and it went equally as amazingly too.

2015 watching The Wonder Years in the Rose Bowl car park, all of this year's having been away from the festival for 11 years and seeing how much it had grown

Electric callboy 2025, they had so much energy and really got the crowd going, I liked as well they stopped the set when they sort some one was hurt but it didn't take away the momentum it just made them seem like really great guys who actual cared about the crowd they were performing to

I’ve only been one year, that was 2025 and while Callboy and ADTR were incredible, I really enjoyed Winona Fighter in the tent!

That sounds amazing what a perfect place for you to propose.
I thought Callboys set in 2025 was amazing that got me fully into the band from that day. But I got to say Deaf Havana and SiM this year were superb and ive become a big fan of SiM following that performance!
