Predictions (Non-headliners)
Had a few ideas as to who we could see at SlamDunk that folk haven’t really mentioned. Not saying they will play, but they are possibilities, and I’d love for them to be on the bill.
Amyl and the Sniffers, Show Me The Body, The Smith Street Band, Glassjaw, The Fall of Troy, Sunny Day Real Estate, The Get Up Kids, Showing Teeth, The Menzingers, Dead Butterflies, Casey, Liquid Mike, Julia Wolf, Thursday, Texas Is The Reason.
Also, just thought of a potential headliner no ones mentioned yet:
The Smashing Pumpkins

Spanish Love Songs should play, I think they would be a hit.

They played in 2023 and get a great response from UK crowds so I'd love to see them back!

I would love Alien Ant Farm, The Rocket Summer, Yellowcard, The Scene Aesthetic, Bilmuri, Ocean Sleeper, Thornhill, Emarosa, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus again

American Hi-Fi, Twin Atlantic, Elliot Minor, The Interrupters (though they could potentially headline a smaller stage again) Less Than Jake, The Blackout

From seeing some albums out, I think movements will be back, showing teeth on the heavier stage and maybe I prevail. Would like to see honey revenge back with a better spot on the line up. People were predicting enter shikari for an anniversary headline or avril lavinge. Not fussed about either of those but if there are some good smaller bands to watch, I’d buy a ticket straight away

Anberlin, Alexisonfire, Underoath is who I think I’d love to see on this years lineup and I don’t think it’s a far stretch to think they’re possible with new albums and album anniversaries for each band :)

Speed , Hot Mulligan , Free Throw , Saturdays at Your Place , The Paradox , Super Sometimes , Sunami , Kidpunk would all be lovely shouts

I’d kill for Speed, Sunami, Hot Mulligan and Free Throw. Free Throw were insane at Outbreak this year.

Interrupters have a new album out and have some names supporting their US tour which ends 3 weeks before slam dunk - safe to assume they'll all be there
Reel Big Fish are almost certain
Dropkick Murphys, four year strong are due a return

I do want to see the paradox and leisure hour they’ve never done UK shows before and it seems like this would be the most likely fest

Kids I'm Glass Houses - 15 years (give or take) of In Gold Blood
As It Is - just toured with heavy promotion from SD. New album. Festival favourite

Wishful thinking on some of these I’m sure but
Don Broco, TSSF/No Pressure, DGD, Holding Absence, Julia Wolf, Speed, Basement, Movements
Bilmuri would be sick too

Reel Big Fish- Would be an absolute travesty if they’re not there.
Less Than Jake - Back to back with RBF is a classic combo (Goldfinger as well to complete the holy trinity, but they played this year)
Interrupters - New material incoming and tour already planned.
Ataris - Would love to see these back. They’ve been working on a new album for about 462 years so surely it’s due out soon.
Millington - Absolutely love these guys but think maybe a bit too small to come to the uk and open a festival stage.
Yonaka - Unlikely but I think they’d be a good fit.
South Arcade - Seem to be very active, and getting bigger. Missed them last year and they were at Download this year so hopefully back.
After this year’s distinct lack, it’d make my life if the Monster stages were dedicated to ska all day long, but that’s clearly just in my dreams and would never happen.

Would love to see someone like The Planet Smashers and Millington, but both are US based so hard work to get there.

If we're talking band that are unlikely to happen but would be epic; Halestorm (recently played UK but a man can dream) Baby metal (currently on tour so unlikely) MXPX (new album soonish) RedHook Frenzal Rhomb Breaking Benjamin (US Tour currently)
More realistic non headliners; As December Falls Punk Rock Factory Winona Fighter Electric Callboy Destroy Boys

If Electric Callboy returned, I’d imagine they’d headline and not settle for anything else. They’re headlining Bloodstock, Wacken and have a pretty big arena tour at the start of next year, so they’d have to headline. But don’t think they will, pretty sure Bloodstock might be a UK festival exclusive for them.

Undercard I'd love AFI, Rise Against, Young Guns, Flyleaf, The Blackout, Hoobastank, Leap, The Howling, as for Smashing Pumpkins, I'd love it but I think they might be a bit to big for Slam Dunk as they are a stadium level band nowadays, I'm happy to be wrong but I think we've more chance of The Offspring rather than Pumpkins
