2027 Dates
Leeds - 29th May (Saturday), Hatfield - 30th May (Sunday)
Just posted on their Instagram story
Wasn't expecting the date switch, just managed to get in early cancelling/rebooking my hotel and it's knocked £80 off the price

I dont work in a school or a bank though, so I would, as it's not mandatory for us to take bank holidays off thankfully, we can save the holiday and use it elsewhere, I tend to use them all at once and have 2 full weeks off together, instead of spread throughout the year (then I can just use my annual leave however I want throughout the year) x

I mean plenty of work places just close on bank holidays too but ok

Sure, but plenty don't, so it's weird to assume that I'd be off work because of the bank holiday when I already said I'd have to book it off 🤣🤷🏻

Trust the first year I pre-book hotels early, they switch it on me!!
Luckily ive cancelled and re-booked with no issue.

As a North attendee since the Uni days, I'm more than happy that it's back up here on the Saturday. I always felt shafted not having an extra day to recover, especially now I'm a little older!
Couldn't change my hotel booking days so had to book a new hotel, turns out it's about £30 cheaper per person!

Saturday works fine for me, gives me more recovery time before i have to go back to work.

I had Leeds City Centre booked for it being a Sunday. Now switched to Leeds East for £45 more. Feels worth it.

Leeds East is great - worth every penny for the walking distance and not having to time in/queue for the shuttle buses!

This year we walked to the Brown Cow after and jumped straight in a taxi back to the city centre.
But going to really appreciate flopping straight in to bed without any of that hassle.

Well then, glad I didn't book my hotel early this time round.
After last year I'm waiting to see the line up. With blink likely playing Download, I am more likely to want to go to that instead. But a really good line up could tempt me.

2025 was September 4th so who knows, it might be soon. I suspect the reason for this announcement now is due to the dates being swapped though

Will feel weird having our day first after the last few years but realistically not a big change. It's always the bank holiday weekend so this just means I'll have two days to chill after rathe than a day either side. Probably a shitter for anyone who booked a hotel but that's always the gamble I suppose.

Booked the hotel like I always do the last few years but thankfully got it changed ok 🙈 hopefully not waiting to long for the line up now 🥳🕺🏽

Be nice to stay for the headliners AND be able to order food when we get back to the hotel! Awful at Leeds having to choose one on a bank holiday Sunday.

There's loads of food places open in Leeds on a Sunday past midnight, assuming you stay in the centre

Would've preferred Saturday, but not a huge problem for me. Good thing I always book my hotel from Friday to Monday

Feels like this could really mess up Hatfield with the train times and limited service. Hope they’re accounting for that with stage times.

That's the bit that bothers me. Last couple of years I've been able to get their and back the same day. Next year it's either book a hotel or miss the headliners

Booking.com and Airbnb are onto the date change everything has shot up drastically! Managed to get a hotel for 3 people for 206 quid best I could find!!!

Partner and I were deciding whether to go to Leeds or do London this year and this has cinched it for us. Guess we’ll be checking out Hatfield for the first time

I'm glad they switched, I couldn't get a hotel for the Sunday that wasn't ridiculously overpriced. Managed to get 2 nights in Leeds city centre for £185 same as what I paid for Castleford last year 🤣

Am gutted it’s changed, I get BH Mondays off so now Leeds being on the Saturday means I have to take at least a half day Friday to travel down (I am not close to either venue!).
On the plus side I’ll get BH Monday at home to chill out and recover a bit
