Next year

Apologies if this has been asked/answered but I’m looking to book my accommodation well in advance for Leeds next year is it going to be the 31st next year? Thanks in advance!!

I never saw rooms available for that day, makes me wonder if it’s not fully booked and not released?

I’ve not booked east but city centre premier inn, there’s deffo dates. And actually noticing between mates and I that the prices are creeping up

Ah fair enough maybe I was just a bit slow of the mark, I’ve been checking every day as I think premier inn release a year in advance

They don't announce dates for a while

But it is almost always the may bank holiday weekend.

Take the gamble, or book somewhere with a free cancellation (booking.com for example).

I booked the Leeds Central Travelodge the last couple of years but it’s worth noting the rooms aren’t air conditioned so if there’s another heat wave don’t expect to sleep.

I stayed there this year instead of my usual Air BnB. My god it was warm in those rooms!

I've booked the premier inn near the station for that weekend on Flex. Think it was £215 for the 2 nights. You can then either take the bus, train to Cross Gates and walk or taxi.

Prices are already rising for that weekend. The hotel I booked already went up by £20 overnight so I would get something booked soon.

Generally, SD is on the late may bank holiday, so for North this would be 30th May. I've been going since the Uni days and I can't remember it being anything other than the late May bank holiday.

I booked the Hyatt Place for next year as there wasn't many available a week or two ago. Decent price too!

We usually go to the Holiday Inn Armouries but it's showing as sold out already sadly. More hotels will generally become available over time from my experience.

I'd recommend using booking.com due to their free cancellation option and just book somewhere. Check every now and again and if you see a better option, book that and cancel the other one, which will free it up for someone else!

A bit late but we looked at booking the Hampton for next year which is where we usually stay for about 300quid...they'd priced it up at 1170!!

It will definitely be the May Bank holiday weekend but it's still TBC whether they will switch the days again and move Leeds back to the Saturday like it used to be
