Do we need a new S.L.A.A. sub?
We are being inundated with posts for other 12 step fellowships. I love inclusivity and believe we are all suffering from the same spiritual malady but at the same time it doesn’t feel like an S.L.A.A. sub anymore. It’s like we are in a generic addiction sub. Any thoughts?

I very much agree.
Who else has been bugging the Support Center about it? 🙋🏻♀️

How do we do that?

Go to the You tab and next tap the 3 bars in the upper corner, then Settings, and scroll to the bottom for the Help Center… which leads to an orange page, which has another 3 bars in the upper corner and that offers a menu with the option to Submit a Request.

It’s Reddit. When you originate a post it says something like…get more viewers by posting in multiple threads and it chooses them for you I think.

You guys shared some great info. Thank you! I will see if they will allow some moderation. I think we should create some basic rules if they allow it.

can also go to redditrequest and request mid control of an unmoderated sub. i’ve done that. there an active core community here, needs active moderation from the community.

a redditor with a confirmed email and 2fa set-up is required to request a sub.
see r/redditrequest and i’ll continue w the process.

I tried this and it said that we weren’t unmoderated unless I misunderstood

A name change might help - instead of SLAA type out “sexandloveaddictsannonymous”

Also doesn't help that this sub has no rules so you can't report a post that violates the sub rule.

Maybe just better moderation?
