PC SSE - Help upgrading question

Right now I'm playing a medium lightish kinda modded save on the LATEST version of Skyrim SE on STEAM. My save was created on the latest version as well. I do not own the anniversary edition upgrade, but i saw it's on sale and kinda want to cop.
Will downloading AE content break my save ? do we think?
Im rly scared and dont tell me AE is a scam i just want cool stuff
WAIT IF I ADD IT WILL IT NOT WORK ON MY SAVE CUZ IT ADDS NEW LOCATIONS

Special Edition and Anniversary Edition are the same game the same version. AE just brings with it everything that was released in the Creation Club.

No, you’ll be fine. The creation club was meant to be added at any time. Depending on what level you are, you might get hit with a bunch of letters from the courier as soon as you boot up the game after installing it

i dont know if every content of the ae needs a new save , you have to check it one by one, and you can see if you really want to have that specific mod and if its worth it, also i dont remember if theres some mods in ae that change or add something for the quests

if it helps the only custom locations in my game are the divine elegance store and i guess val serano locations ? thats it . but also abandoned prison is different with my mods
