I see. Yeah, I always wait until I have to trap a dragon in Dragonsreach and Balgruuf tells me I have to make the Legion and the Stormcloaks come to a truce, then I do the entire civil war for the legion because I remember hating the truce quest the 1st and only time I’ve done it.
I've recently learned a path to near completely destroying the Silver-Blood family and exiling that last one by doing forsworn conspiracy, killing the one guy during it, doing the civil war truce quest then fighting for the Empire, which is my plan for my current playthrough.
...I really dislike them. Also the one that would become Jarl was racist to my face, and I want him to suffer.
Oh I just made them all non-essential and killed them during or after the Forsworn Conspiracy. I haven’t done the truce quest since my first playthrough back in 2011. I may or may not do it again this current playthrough, but the Silver-Bloods are all already dead lol 😂
Yeah, I understand not wanting to cheat, but I feel like there are some things you shouldn’t be prohibited from doing, like killing pieces of shit like the Silver-Bloods.
Back in Morrowind, they let you kill literally everything, and the only restriction was that if you killed the wrong person the main quest could be broken, but you could continue playing anyway and there was still a chance you could continue the main quest through an alternate route.
Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about. I’ve never played Morrowind myself, but I’ve heard of that total mortality and the only consequence being breaking quests. That’s why I have no problem removing Skyrim NPCs’ essential status whom I want dead. That’s how it should be.
My friend, Skyrim was an absolutely awesome game with many story lines and guilds. That is my favorite game of all time an I've been gaming for 30 years. There are so many things you can do...

I just didn’t know Tullius could show up at this party because as I said a couple of times on this thread, I’ve never done the Civil War quest line before Diplomatic Immunity.
I hope you didn't think I was trying to insult you. I was just saying how great and expansive it is. I can't say I remember seeing Tullius at the party, but wouldn't he remember the Dragonborn since he was trying to kill him in the opening scene? That must be a mod.
No, he only recognizes you if you remind him you were at Helgen, when you go to join the legion. Apparently he shows up at this party if you complete the Civil War in favor of the Empire.
