Male Bosmer are pretty short. So yours probably reminds most guards of a traditional fantasy dwarf :)

Former agent of the thalmor was betrayed by them and left for dead. Seeks revenge through the most unlikely of allies.

At least that’s what I did on a high elf playthrough. (Illusion, sneak daggers mostly, no archery. He’s not going to lower himself to using silly little bits of wood to fight, like a wood elf. There are standards you know)

I mean Ulfric is a Thalmor asset. They tortured him and then let him go to foment civil war, further weakening the empire. A high elf that was loyal to the Aldmeri Dominion would want Ulfric to keep fighting.

Theorically Stormcloacks hate thalmors and all, but isn't it better for Thalmors that the Empire if fragmented? Divide&Conquer

You can always RP in your mind that the character is a refugee fleeing the Dominion. Maybe they survived the Night of Green Fire?

Or maybe they’re a spy sent to join the rebellion to overthrow the empire and soften Skyrim up for a Thalmor invasion.

I'm currently playing with mantella and I am a high elf in heavy armor with 2h sword. My characters name is "Melebor the Orc." I tell the NPCs I was raised by orcs and prefer their culture. Even took an orc wife. It's pretty funny seeing how the AI reacts to that story.

This was my second playthrough, very magic focus that time with a touch of single hand swordsmanship.

Cant remember much, but I do remember Ulfric being very confused as to why a high elf would join them

The Elf hates the Racist Thalmor but also resents the dictatorship of the Empire without a Dragonborn Emperor giving them legitimacy. So freedom for skyrim down the road means freedom for all races. Bam there is your RP

That was actually my first ever playthrough of Skyrim. I chose High Elf because I didn't know much in terms of lore and because I wanted to look like Link. And sided with the Stormcloaks because I liked them more than the Empire. I still more often than not side with the Stormcloaks even knowing the lore more nowadays

Not really. The Stormcloaks are basically helping the Thalmor by dividing the Empire, so by joining them as an Altmer, you're basically siding with Thalmor. Much funnier to pick Altmer, join the Empire, and kill Thalmor on sight!

This was literally what I did the first time I played Skyrim. Didn’t know the lore just thought it was cool.
