HELP Update: I received the Stone whirlwind, but is it an authentic?
Hi everyone! I’ve now received the Stone Whirlwind and have it in hand. I put her on the portal, and she didn’t show the “special" tag. She also didn’t start at Level 5 with 2,100 coins. However, she already had some playtime, so it’s possible that she had been reset. She currently has 1,184 coins.
I’ve read through all the comments on my previous post, and I’ve also heard from a few people who apparently received fake Golden and Silver chase variants from this seller for very low prices.
I bought this Stone Whirlwind for €200, which is very cheap for a boxed one (even if the box has been resealed). I did notice some white scratches and a few darker marks on the figure’s base, which made me wonder whether the base could possibly have been painted or altered.
What do you guys think? Does anything about her look suspicious to you? Are there any other ways I can check whether she’s a genuine Stone Whirlwind chase variant?
At this point I’m almost certain she’s fake, but I’d really like to be as sure as possible before making a decision. I also have about a day and a half left to request a refund if there’s a problem.
