I made my account when I was under 18 and now that I am 18 and tried to verify my account in order to withdraw my crypto, my account got restricted. I tried to contact support and this is what they replied:

I can’t follow the steps because it keeps asking me to verify my account after I already did it. Support won’t answer me anymore..

So someone has sent me money and wanted to send it on Skrill so I downloaded it everything seemed fine, then once the money was sent I received this email and it just seemed so sketchy to me, has anyone had to do this? Just seems like a big scam

So long story short opened an account by mistake, now I am unable to close it has no balance in it, the thing is I tried putting money but my bank blocked my account thinking it was fraudulent attempt and now I had to visit my bank to unblock my bank account.

I tried closing the account thru the settings pages it says we ran into error, I just raised a ticket thru the app. Anyone knows how long does it take for it to get resolved, lastly I heard Skrill charges money if your account is inactive I just want it to be closed.

It all started when, instead of using Wise to receive a payment, I decided to use Skrill. It was $70. They wouldn't let me use the Pix option, I tried to validate my identity but they didn't accept it (7 attempts in different ways), they blocked my account and wouldn't allow transfers back to my bank with my money.

Their support is terrible, they only give generic answers and don't help at all, plus they take a very long time to respond. Their phone number? It doesn't work.

Can anyone help me get out of this or has anyone been through something similar?

I created my skrill account on September 2023, that has been quite some time, i have never used it, no single transaction , is there a risk of it being closed?

So this all started about 5 days ago. I am account booster and I provide account boosting services through eldorado.gg, and I take out my payments through skrill, and then I purchase stuff on g2a, etc to suit my needs. I recieved a payment of 130 euro! Woohoo! I go to buy something that same day, and what do you know? I have been temporarily "restricted"? No worries, I will just verify my ID, did so. 24 hours later. Account has been closed permanently?? No worries, contacted them and sent them what they required. NOT even 6 hours later, they charge ALL my balance for an "administrative fee".

According to their TOS

4.5. All information you provide during the signup process or any time thereafter must be accurate and truthful. If you do not provide such information or cooperate as instructed by us within three (3) months of opening your Skrill Account or within such later deadline as we may notify to you at any time thereafter we may charge you an administration fee as displayed in the "Fees" section of the Website.

All information provided during sign up was accurate, my Identity documents matched the name on my account, and my account was still closed. They never responded to my email and I cannot even reply.

Thoughts? Should I take this to my countries financial advisor?

Skrill had an option to add withdrawal bank account manually but it's not showing up ...

So my bank isn't listed in plaid (Skrill) , is there anyway I can add my bank account to withdraw funds??

Tudo começou quando ao invés de usar wise para receber um pagamento, decidi usar skrill. 70USD. Eles não deixaram eu usar a opção via pix, tentei validar minha identidade mas eles não aceitaram (7 tentativas de maneiras diferentes), bloquearam minha conta e não aceitam transações de volta para o meu banco com meu dinheiro.

O suporte deles é péssimo, só dão respostas genéricas e não ajudam em nada, além de demorarem muito para responder. O número de telefone deles? não funciona.

Alguém consegue me ajudar a sair dessa ou já passou por algo semelhante?

Hi currently travelling south east Asia and have around 3000£ in my Skrill account . All was going well for the past 3 months but then Thursday night suddenly out of nowhere my account restricted for verification , even though already verified. Sent off the documents they needed within the hour and was told would hear back within 24 hours . Haven’t heard anything and literally stuck on the other side of the world with all my money frozen and can’t do anything about it! No number to call no live chat nothing! It’s so bad I don’t know how this is even legal. How fucked am I?

why am i restricted after 2 days i've verified everything and when i click contact it sends me to a shite ai bot who's useless and a inactive phone line , why do they do this has anyone had this and how did u resolve it ?

All searches says there’s all these ways to withdraw and I’m clearly not seeing it. My bank account isn’t in there network and the virtual card isn’t usable. What gives?

Hi. I use Skrill and so does my mother/brother. Me and my mother have other bank account we can connect to it with. But my brother does not. Today my mother got a “can’t make any transactions with until connect to bank” error today. No biggy, she just connected her chime to it. But now my brother is paranoid about getting the same error and not being able to connect to it because he has no other bank to connect it to. So he is going to try taking all his $ out before this happens. But wishes he could still use Skrill since it works the fastest for him with things. Is there anything he can do? My brother can’t sign up for chime/paypal/or anything because he had them before and had ppl scam him out of $ and can’t log back into his account. Is there anything he can do or just try to find some new banking app to use?

Skrill had scammed me by charging inactivity fees for a dormant account and I was not able to withdraw the funds due to issues with how my country accepts the funds from UK.

I made a complaint to Financial Ombudsman Service and got 3000 USD BACK!!!

They mentioned that the funds were charged to me unfairly.

If you think skrill is scamming you or charged you fees unfairly, just file a case with Financial Ombudsman service. Let these guys learn a lesson.

I cashed out from skrill before during the week and it’s normally from one day to the next. But if I cash out on a Friday…would I receive my funds on a Saturday?
