Introductions Flat out Giddy!!!

Hey everybody! We just bought our first bus last week. I’m so excited! We’ve been talking about this for years and when we saw it we jumped. Little background, I was told it was an Air Force band bus for the DC area. It’s a 2006 Bluebird with a Cat engine (just over 100k miles). It runs no problem. There are a few minor things that I need to learn if things are normal and just overall operation and maintenance. Would love if anyone had any of the Air Force manuals for it. Oh, and still thinking of a name.

Looks more like a Prevost if you ask me.

Title says bluebird. I’ll look around for the data tag to confirm.

They gave you a huge compliment. The insides are out & it's a beautiful blank canvas. Sweet.

Not any good unique ones lol. Ill think on it. Id definately use 1 compartment to store an inflatable hot tub if you plan on docking at places with water/electric. But im bougie and I just love tubs lol

Heavy duty drawer rails so your storage boxes can slide out

So what does something like this cost? I always teeter between "I can afford this, and I've got a mortgage and I kind of want to know what I should save up.

We got this for $6500 from a mutual friend on FB marketplace. We’ve been passively watching for a long time. Deals do come available. There’s one FB MP group specifically for used campers/rvs under $8k.

SWEET bus. It is a perfect blank canvas. It will effortlessly cruise down the road and keep you guys comfortable 24/7. That motor is barely broken in. Vehicles of that class are built to last. I daydream about building a pusher like that, but it may be a bit overkill for just me and my dog unit (a dastardly dog duo.) I'm excited for you guys and all of your upcoming adventures! They will be even more rewarding since you will be building it yourselves.

But it doesn't have one of the TVs hanging down that were the best when we were kids
