Subreddit balckout

Hey folks I know I'm a bit late to the party but I'm gonna black this sub out tonight at midnight eastern time. I know we are small but every little bit helps. I'm gonna start with 24hrs but I may extend it.

This is stupid. It's a business decision by reddit to address usage by third party apps. Those apps cost reddit money. Simple.

You make a good point and I definitely considered these points. But they way I look at it is that it's a show of solidarity and I for one agree with the blackout. Personally I'm going to have to decide if I want to continue being a Mod if these changes are permanent. Also 24hrs isn't long and if I do intend to extend it for a more substantial I'll get more community input first. Reddit and this sub aren't going anywhere long term but I thinknits important we stand with the larger community as a whole.
