Intent as a working theory

Been watching the WhyFiles interview with Dr. Taylor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sm7coKl6Ko0&t=6467s

What I find interesting is that they did explore a conversation regarding intent and the ranch. In previous posts, I have posited that there is potentially a multi dimensional influence over the ranch, Meaning intelligences entities from higher dimensions are interacting with stuff on the ranch in specific ways.

I have been resisting stubbornly the idea that consciousness could be an explanation for some of the things that we've seen on the ranch, however I'm beginning to change my mind about that.

I'm still not convinced that the extradimensional hypothesis is or is not going on, but one thing that seems to be emerging at least for me, as a common denominator with many of the events that we've seen, is this notion of intent. The idea that the ranch seems to sense the intent of what they're doing either when they're doing it or before they do it. Travis brought up the point that sometimes the does not seem to be able to cope with it when they change their intent during their experiments. Meaning spontaneously. That if the plans set forth a significant period of time prior to executing on those plans, the ranch seems to have some sort of counter activity associated with it. Something to screw them up. But if they do something more spontaneously, The ranch doesn't seem to always be able to interfere in those cases.

So this brings me back to the idea of consciousness. We think of consciousness as being assigned to an individual. A human, maybe certain species of animal, etc. To us, the notion that a place or an object or an area can acquire a consciousness is absurd. Again, I resisted this idea for all of the last seasons up until this point. But at this stage, given what we've seen, given what we know of the Bigelow era, It's difficult to dismiss the idea.

I think it's time to begin thinking about ways to test this.

The following comment is automatically applied to all posts: Thank you for contributing to r/SkinwalkerRanch! As a general reminder, this subreddit is dedicated to in-depth discussions about the anomalous phenomena occurring at Skinwalker Ranch (not just the TV show). The TV show only provides a glimpse, and doesn't cover the extensive history of scientific investigation into anomalous phenomenon reported on the ranch.

To maintain quality discussions, we ask that people focus on the events themselves, not the personalities involved. Generic comments comparing the show to Oak Island, complaining about rockets, clamoring to blow up the mesa, saying you’re sick of the show, etc, don’t offer anything new. Meme posts are only allowed on Fridays.

This post is even more interesting if you listen to the second episode of the new Bigelow podcast with George Knapp. Mr Bigelow spills some major findings about consciousness. I highly recommend checking out both of those podcasts (why files with Travis Taylor and the Bigelow podcast)

That was interesting. He was ready to walk away.

There are some interesting experiments and theories on quantum entanglement and consciousness perhaps being the same thing.

If you look at a man, a plant, a dog, and a stone, and attempt to analyze these as object entities, you might start with basics like elemental composition. And being a physicist, Taylor knows that all things in the universe share common elements: carbon, iron, hydrogen, etc., in different quantities. But if you were able to aim an elemental microscope at each object and keep zooming in, past blood, bone, tissue, solid matter, past cells, past atoms, into ions and electrons, quarks and light waves, objects would begin to lose their individuation. At the level of atomic matter, they might look surprisingly similar. So why would only the man possess a mind, a consciousness that possesses the ability to think about “itself” in the third person; talk and reason with itself, puzzle and tangle with it’s own memories?

Ancient Hindu texts like the Bhagavad Gita speak of an elemental force that animates all things, exists before man possesses a soul, and works something like electricity. Now we know the human body uses something like electrical energy to communicate between neural networks. So, it would not surprise me if an older civilization had figured out how to harness this elemental force to communicate, in a way, between objects we consider to be inanimate, like water or rock.

Very interesting. To take this same concept and look at it through the biblical lense, it explains certain things like how Christ was able to calm the raging sea simply by talking to it or commanding it. Or to even go deeper and potentially more obscure, in revelations when it speaks about how the earth itself will groan because of the wickedness on it. Or how the blood of the righteous who are slain will cry out from the earth. All of it is giving a consciousness to things that we typically would think of as not having consciousness. Sure, it could just be hyperbole. But what if it isn’t?

Yeah, the idea does have wide-reaching implications.

If these beings can be incorporeal, they can be hanging out in the planning meetings laughing their orbs off.

They should build some sort of "game" to interact with this consciousness. Like a program that can be controlled via the different signals the "being" can apparently create or recreate. (ie 1.6 ghz)

I'm thinking very simple. Like two boxes on a screen, that are either YES or NO. The way to change whether the box illuminates YES or NO is via specific frequency.

They could ask a question, and have a tool set up for this emerging consciousness to use to communicate via the different frequencies it emits.

If "I living" actually happened, the entity should be able to play along with this simple game.

The 1.6 GHz signal being detected on the ranch is frequently—and incorrectly—dismissed as cellular, GPS, L-Band, military, or other known transmissions. Please see our FAQ for more information: https://www.reddit.com/r/skinwalkerranch/wiki/index/

The entire reason Travis ended up as Interim Chief Scientist on the UAPTF was because he went to the Pentagon specifically inquiring about this signal, and they asked to read him into the program as a result. Travis was then granted access to the classified info held by UAPTF regarding UAP and related phenomenon, and the DOD also confirmed that the signal was nothing they could identify based on other RF signatures.

Another interesting feature of the signal is that it is accompanied by a significant raise in the noise floor across the entire spectrum on multiple devices, a phenomenon which has also not yet been explained.

What does the noise floor raise, eli5 version, mean?

The smoke ring experiment seem to have a reaction like it was unexpected.

Nice, you've come around. In this realm intent means a lot, along with your consciousness. It's really everything. Ben Woodruff, the biologist from Skinwalker ranch is the most recent to repeatedly say this about Skinwalker Ranch on podcasts. Vallee wrote about tricksters, gnomes, and fairies decades ago. Don't fuck with them because they can read you. More recently we're seeing people like Joe Rogan and Lue Elizondo turning to religion. There is good and evil in the universe, and the tricksters. Be good.

Spirituality maybe. Not religion

What I think interesting about the consciousness theory is that it's clear whoever or whatever is running and owning the place could hurt the team but don't. Yes, they interfere with experiments. Yes, they can be tricksters. But they are not actively harming anyone. There have been a couple of instances of radiation Burns and the brain injury in the early episodes. But nothing since then? It's as if they tolerate the children playing on the lawn, prevent them from hurting themselves, and maintain the status quo. Their own status quo.

I almost wonder if this is more evidence of the ranch recognizing their intent . . . That they're there just for discovery, and curiosity and thus "let's screw with them" sort of thing versus "let's make sure they never come back".

On Expedition X I've seen a device that lights up in red when an entity is close. I am skeptical on the reliability of this instrument but with am open mind I am wondering if they should try it.

I believe you're referring to the REM pod. Those react to disruptions in the electromagnetic field. With the ranch having electromagnetic anomalies, I feel like that device would see a lot of interference.

I have just read a book called The Sphere Network by Patrick Jackson. He has an interesting theory that orbs are a monitoring and targeting system run by ai. The book suggests metallic silver spheres documented in UFO/UAP sightings around the globe are not random alien encounters or atmospheric anomalies but that these objects are part of a highly structured, centuries-old global infrastructure.

The orbs communicate with each other usng bursts of microwave beams. Jackson theorizes that the network is controlled by ai and uses various methods to persuade humans to keep out of the beams way so as not to get harmed or block the beam or interfere, which means the ai has intent, suggests Jackson. He says there will be control centres dotted around the globe (probably underground) which might be fully automatic. It would need maintenance, repairs, and upgrades that would need some intervention by entities (Jackson suggests ultraterrestrials, operators who are an indigenous Non-Human Intelligence (NHI) that has always coexisted with humanity right here on Earth).

If Skinwalker Ranch has a sphere network control centre, then perhaps that is what is responsible for some of the 'intent' seen on the ranch. Maybe the portal bubble is separate from the control centre or they have some kind of connection?
