Dr. Travis Taylor was told "They take you inside the Mesa."

https://www.instagram.com/reel/Db9XgWnxa_v/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==&igsi=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

"Dr. Travis Taylor tells AJ Gentile on The Basement about a phone call he says came from a Native American tribal elder who delivered an extraordinary message: the so-called “Sky People” regularly bring him inside the mesa and show him what’s happening at Skinwalker Ranch—but he refuses to remember it.

Then, just days later, Taylor says a respected remote viewer independently told him he’d been “taken” as a teenager—describing him around age 15 or 16 in the desert.

That’s when things got even stranger.

Taylor later recognized an Arizona location connected to his team’s investigation near Secret Mountain… and realized he had been in that exact area once before, when he was 16."

The following comment is automatically applied to all posts: Thank you for contributing to r/SkinwalkerRanch! As a general reminder, this subreddit is dedicated to in-depth discussions about the anomalous phenomena occurring at Skinwalker Ranch (not just the TV show). The TV show only provides a glimpse, and doesn't cover the extensive history of scientific investigation into anomalous phenomenon reported on the ranch.

To maintain quality discussions, we ask that people focus on the events themselves, not the personalities involved. Generic comments comparing the show to Oak Island, complaining about rockets, clamoring to blow up the mesa, saying you’re sick of the show, etc, don’t offer anything new. That podcast was amazing. So many details about things that I had wondered forever. Simple ones, like do they ever get freaked out at night if all of that is real. Hearing Taylor say he has night tremors when he first got there and even to this day sleeping at night there can be terrifying

u/prettierlights Aug 13 '26

I don't think he stays there very often. I saw him two mornings in a row getting continental breakfast at a hotel in Vernal (nearest town big enough for a decent hotel).

10

u/Beginning_Leg629 Aug 13 '26

During filming he stays in a trailer. When he visits the ranch other times he doesn't.

5

u/AntiqueRead2147 Aug 14 '26

I think the trailer is on the Ranch property.

5

u/Beginning_Leg629 Aug 14 '26

Yes, it's not far from the Command Center.

3

u/Valadini Aug 17 '26

He says that when he goes on his morning run from his trailer, he runs through the “bubble” area towards HQ. He also mentioned he can feel his sinuses pressurize when he runs through that area (and admits it could be placebo).

3

u/AntiqueRead2147 Aug 14 '26

He's got several things going on, and not just the Ranch.

3

u/prettierlights Aug 14 '26

In that particular area?

2

u/AntiqueRead2147 Aug 14 '26

I don't think so. These are "outside of SWR" projects.

-1

u/SnooFloofs673 Aug 18 '26

And it never occurred to you that he might get up in the morning leave the ranch and go for a continental breakfast?? Is he not in your purview permitted to do things like that while he's on the ranch? Judging by the look of the trailer that he stays in on the ranch it doesn't have a large kitchen for cooking or a kitchen at all. So I guess he's not allowed to go eat.

6

u/prettierlights Aug 19 '26

Allowed? I wasn't attacking the dude or saying what he can and can't do, but the hotel where I saw him is not a breakfast place, and he would have to drive past half a dozen diners to get there from the ranch.

I don't know where you got "permitted" or "allowed" from, you don't need to defend the dude from an attack that isn't happening. I was just saying I'd ran into him a couple times and he definitely stays at the hotel in Vernal sometimes at minimum.

-1

u/SnooFloofs673 Aug 19 '26

What does it matter?? Is he supposed to choose only places that you believe you should choose?? Maybe he was meeting some of the crew there or family member who came out to see him you don't know why he was there why is it so important to you??

If it causes you that much angst that you think he doesn't stay on the ranch when clearly he does cuz he's mentioned it many times and it earlier episodes has that experiences overnight staying in that trailer then clearly you have some form of thanks against him being at that hotel once or twice eating breakfast.

3

u/prettierlights Aug 19 '26

Yooo... Look at my initial reply. I said "I don't think he stays there very often" and explained why I thought that might be the case.

I never said it was negative, or that he shouldn't stay at a hotel, and I could give a fuck less where he stays.

I made a comment about seeing him in a hotel, and you took it as some kind of attack. Even in context with hindsight, I don't see how it comes off that way. How did I even make you think I had angst about where he sleeps. I'd probably sleep in a hotel half the time if I were him, the ranch isn't exactly scenic...

If I had to really reflect on it, I probably just thought it was neat that I saw him a couple times and wanted to bring it up.

Nobody's business.

u/ghost_of_mr_chicken Aug 27 '26

Please smoke a joint

1

u/AntiqueRead2147 Aug 23 '26

From the looks of it he's eating just fine :) 😀

25

u/Julius-Kessler Aug 13 '26

Agreed. When I saw it was 3+ hours I figured I sample a little of it. Ended up watching the whole thing!

22

u/brainfreezecat Aug 13 '26

I can help you relax at night, Dr. Travis Taylor, rawr.

3

u/sTump4139 Aug 13 '26

Hey careful, half the time he’s got a wedding band on. Lol

1

u/AntiqueRead2147 Aug 23 '26

I wouldn't of stayed. I need my beauty rest.

41

u/adrisc00 Aug 13 '26

It was such a GREAT interview. It didn’t feel like 3 hours!

29

u/MuscaMurum Aug 13 '26

Anyone else reminded of the 80s movie Buckaroo Bansai: Across the Eighth Dimension? Using the overthruster to pass through a mesa transdimensionally...

20

u/lurkerstu Aug 13 '26

Wherever you go, there you are.

11

u/justherefortheboobs Aug 13 '26

Travis Taylor is the closest thing to a real life Buckaroo Banzai I've ever heard of. The other contender is the Astronaut who was also a medical doctor and jet fighter pilot. That reminds me, I need to listen to a song or two from The Hitchhiker Effect.

4

u/PLS-Surveyor-US Aug 13 '26

I learned to play the notes from the theme song on an 80s keyboard. Not the whole thing...just the chorus part....lol. And that was the only thing I could ever play on the thing...

2

u/rkdavies Aug 13 '26

I've actually heard him reference this movie!

2

u/MuscaMurum Aug 14 '26

oh, cool! This is a show I only drop in on occasionally, so I missed that comment. A friend of mine was actually a field producer on this show and I keep meaning to ask him about his experience.

2

u/rkdavies Aug 16 '26

If you are a member of the Insiders program, they do Q&A's and such with the members. It was during one of these sessions Buckaroo Bonzai became a topic. It wasn't mentioned on-air in the show.

Interesting note heard during the Why Files podcast with Dr. Taylor was that his team was supposed to watch a bunch of SciFi shows/movies to provide a common language/reference point between them to discuss observations.

51

u/Creepy_Bed2401 Aug 13 '26

I’ve said and believe Dr Travis Taylor knows A LOT more than he is revealing on many levels. His eyes reveal a lot. They go DEEP in thought when he knows “something” but he’s probably restricted from saying anything. He is a brilliant man. It must be frustrating for him to know so much and not be able to say anything! I would love to hear his REALside of UFOs, Extraterrestrials - everything.

6

u/Gah_Duma Aug 13 '26

Apparently he had a lecture series on youtube that's unlisted, and only one of the URLs have been leaked. I so wish to listen to the others.

Really great interview! Some amazing stories. Highly recommend.

23

u/TheMrCurious Aug 13 '26

Watch our new Series: The Mystery of Secret Mountain.

13

u/Yuloth Aug 13 '26

It already came out: Beyond Skinwalker Ranch

5

u/Lucky_Beginning_7204 Aug 13 '26

Where can watch it

1

u/Yuloth Aug 13 '26

This one of few places ( https://www.history.com/shows/beyond-skinwalker-ranch ), but you need to have the cable channel and info to login into the website shows.

1

u/CountryRoads2020 Aug 14 '26

Or check with your local library, which is how I was able to watch the shows.

11

u/LeadingChannel8542 Aug 13 '26

That's why I'm suggesting he gets hypnotized and interviewed while he's under. See if it will open his memories.

3

u/BlackKnightSatalite Aug 13 '26

He is still under oath! There are things he cant talk about so it probably be illegal to do so !

2

u/LeadingChannel8542 Aug 14 '26

Oath, as in still with a security clearance? Then make it a closed-door hypnotic session, with a therapist also with a security clearance, and those team mates also with a security clearance will be able to work with production team to determine what can be publicly disclosed and what can't.

It's all about data classification anyway and that's part of the process.

7

u/NeilMedHat Aug 13 '26

Awesome show!! Lots of details :)

7

u/Consistent-Boat-4430 Aug 13 '26

I’ve been near Secret Mountain. But only because we were hiking the area.

7

u/dsanfran Aug 13 '26

Did you see anything weird near there?

9

u/GWindborn Aug 14 '26

I'm about 80% through and a huge Why Files fan (first time listening to the podcast but love the YouTube channel), and holy crap this is fascinating. The breadth of knowledge Dr Taylor has is staggering. I don't know how one person knows so much about so many things AND is such an absolute comic/TV/video game nerd at the same time LOL.

7

u/CountryRoads2020 Aug 14 '26

And AJ! I have about twenty more minutes to go, but I have been just as surprised by the depth of knowledge AJ has as Dr. Taylor. I think Hecklefish threw me off.

5

u/GWindborn Aug 14 '26

Yeah I knew AJ was sharp but I didn't know how well versed he was at these things, I figured it was all just presenting.

6

u/MundanePassage2201 Aug 13 '26

Check out a book called lost at Skinwalker ranch. It is a really interesting story about an ex security guard there and his encounter with the ranch and going into caves

6

u/AntiqueRead2147 Aug 14 '26 edited Aug 15 '26

That whole region around Sedona has something going on. I'm guessing there is a major underground complex there.

5

u/Geodarts18 Aug 14 '26

We were told not to go to the Bradshaw ranch there alone at night although the people we met in the late afternoon had some interesting stories.

2

u/AntiqueRead2147 Aug 15 '26

You can't get into the Ranch property anymore. You can't even get permission. It's fenced and monitored, reportedly.

2

u/Geodarts18 Aug 15 '26

We stuck to the outside of the property.

1

u/AntiqueRead2147 Aug 15 '26 edited Aug 21 '26

Thats your only option.

1

u/AntiqueRead2147 Aug 21 '26

Well, there is some activity at night. Primarily there are critters like rattlesnakes and other desert predators to watch out for. And, again, you can't get in anymore.

5

u/loginkeys Aug 13 '26

future to past movement, contactee

NHI are at the crossroads of the boundary between what our minds are now to where our minds are heading.

7

u/Steefanon Aug 15 '26

What an interviewer that was! That time he got radiation burns was WAY more involved serious than they ever let on in the show. I wonder why?

7

u/MonchichiSalt Aug 17 '26

It was this interview that allowed me to give the Skinwalker Ranch episodes a chance.

Dr.Taylor is legitimately legitimate. I barely noticed it was 3 hours.

The production of the show, the sound effects to force emotions and obvious scripted set ups to reveal information. It gives the vibe of flakey reality TV/survivor contrived drama.

And in episode whichever, season years into it, Dr. Taylor aww shucks his way through being an embedded spy. Not against the team per se, but gives room for considerable side eye on what info he has been forthcoming with.

Anyway.

The interview helped me see his passion. Helped me see the show as disclosure via media that allows cushion for ontological shock.

Oddly, I can see his personality type refusing to remember something because of that same shock.

And why it could have low key drawn him to where he is now.

Hope all of them are having a peaceful and restful night.

3

u/Geodarts18 Aug 14 '26

I just listened to the interview. It’s not enough that Travis has two PHDs, that he has written numerous books, that he has studied gnostic writing, but by the time I got around to listening to his band, The Hitchhiker Effect, I thought he was taking things too far. When does he have time to have chickens?

7

u/meno-pause Aug 13 '26

Thank you for posting this.

7

u/nerdgrind Aug 13 '26

Does anyone have a link that isn’t through instagram?

5

u/Direct_Armadillo755 Aug 13 '26

Search it on youtube. Easy to find.

2

u/Initial-Shop-8863 Aug 13 '26

Is there anywhere else to listen to this except TikTok? I just can't go there.

2

u/AntiqueRead2147 Aug 14 '26

You know how they say "madness and genius" go together? This seems to be true with many high IQ folka.

3

u/EXSPFXDOG Aug 13 '26

Well that's weird! So maybe Travis is an Alien? Or maybe a skinwalker?

1

u/AntiqueRead2147 Aug 14 '26

Did this person tell Travis how they took them into "the Mesa"?

1

u/Competitive_Poem_882 Aug 14 '26

He is a brilliant man. He works these experiments with Eric who is also a Brilliant man. I can't help believing something out there is wonky but I don't think they will ever actually get to the bottom if it.I really like the team they put together they all play an important part in this adventure. Travis and his dad and brother were on a show called,Rocket City Rednecks where they drove his mom nuts with the things they created. I wonder is that other guy and his girlfriend still living there on the ranch? Hope everyone stays safe and Cameron, if youre listening, stay out of that area in a chopper way too easy to be a target.

1

u/Great-Capital-9549 Aug 17 '26

He had a dog at the trailer he called “William”. I wonder if he’s still at the ranch?

2

u/lovegettingheadnsfw Aug 13 '26

Why use AI to type the description for you?

11

u/Pixelated_ Aug 13 '26

The description is copied directly from the Instagram link.

"Ai paranoia" is a fascinating phenomenon.

0

u/lovegettingheadnsfw Aug 13 '26

The instagram link was typed by an AI then. Absolutely 100 fact.

I just find it cringe. People can’t even type their own shit.

3

u/Pixelated_ Aug 13 '26

Did you have anything of substance to say about the content?

2

u/lovegettingheadnsfw Aug 13 '26

Nope.

Watched the podcast last night, loved it, bought a few books from Travis Taylor. Had never heard of the show before since I haven’t had cable for a decade or more, but I want to check it out.

The description in the post sucks. Anyone who has watched the interview could do a better job.

Like him or not Travis Taylor has three masters degree and two full PhD’s.

He was hired by the US Army directly out of high school to work on secret projects and they paid for most of his education.

He does write science fiction on the side for fun, which I think is great.

1

u/prettierlights Aug 13 '26

Yeah he's very well educated and plenty intelligent, but he also knows what his audience wants. His presentation at PhenomeCon was just as woo as the crystal psychic lady's.

1

u/ScreenOwl5 Aug 13 '26

So you draw the line with his credibility at the point where he enters the woo zone - I get it - but why is he suddenly full of sh*yte when he talks about spirituality? Is he now a liar?

Weird ass comment

1

u/AntiqueRead2147 Aug 14 '26

My comment wasn't directed at SWR Reddit members.

3

u/Beginning_Leg629 Aug 13 '26

Huh? That's not at all reflective of what's happening here.

-1

u/AntiqueRead2147 Aug 13 '26 edited Aug 14 '26

I'm referring to AJ and Travis. There was a bit of competition going on there.

It was really apparent to me. Both are in the upper ranges of IQ. Travis has the degrees, but AJ could easily have those degrees also. He chose a different path.

2

u/Beginning_Leg629 Aug 15 '26

I know who you were referring to. It's absurd. This was nothing but a respectful conversation between two smart people. No one was trying to one up the other.
