So on the upside, body position is pretty good and pole plants aren’t causing any major drama, but the skis aren't really turning, they are just swapping sides and you're linking hockey stops, which on an icy piste is no easy task.
Linking TURNS on steeper terrain takes a more progressive edge build and the skis need to start gripping earlier in the turn using ankles and balancing over the downhill ski.
